HOLY SHIT! This is great news! I'm really happy to hear this for all you guys. Hopefully they keep rolling in!

I know what you mean, Kevin oues me $7500 and $7250 went into his credit union account not paypal.
If Skit B or Kevin were giving refunds would there be some sort of communication from them or his mouth piece?
As a reminder, I paid by corporate check so I am still pursuing with law firm until I get a refund or we force bankruptcy or we start collecting. Guys who paid by check - you are not alone.
Maybe it's just PayPal releasing the funds in their account finally and has nothing to do with Kevin doing it at all?

Let's not make up stuff and see how it all plays out. So far, all good news.

Doubtful. This is the workings of Kevin and his attorney.

I dont really care what it is so long as the money is actually there afetr the pending amount of time.
I sure hope for those that paid by check that this is the workings of his attorney and you will be getting a check cut today also!
What's odd is that we know Kevin spent some of the money, so if he is refunding some in full doesn't that mean that others are gunna get screwed?

Likely anyone who paid other than paypal.
Quoted from Crash:I think "refunds in progress" should be added to the thread title.
I think you add that to the title when people start actually seeing the money formally deposited in their bank account.
I still got nothing
Any legality or reason it seems 99% of refunds are going to people outside of US?
If you haven't contacted kevins lawyer and haven't got a refund you should call him. I called him yesterday he was really good to deal with. Took all my info and I got a refund today.
Just as an FYI to those that have refunds "in progress"... I have had my credit card chargeback "in progress" since early March. I was told that it would take 30-60 days, and it has been 90 now with no resolution or final outcome and still pending. So I am very glad that it looks like some good news finally, but be aware that it may take awhile for anything to become official.

Thanks.
Pm sent
Quoted from Pinballs:I paid $4,750.00 via PP, but no news of a refund yet.
Ditto!
I hope all foreign buyers get made whole just as quickly.

Got $1000 out of my $3250... Hope it continues...
this is a great way to start the day, so happy for all of you who have been out on this. hopefully everyone gets what they paid back
Quoted from Crash:Looks like Kevin is finally cracking.
I hope it's not Kevin himself cracking but rather him cracking the whip on those refunds
In all seriousness, what a sweet ending it would be if everyone got refunded. I don't want to jump the gun but I'm more hopeful than I have been in months.
The following is Mr. Kulek’s attorney contact information:

I spoke with Jon on Tuesday and emailed him an image of the small claims judgment order I had received. I have heard nothing yet about the refunds or for any refunds to those that paid by check.
Anyone that has paid by check, please be sure to get with Jon and make him aware of your status.
If you have an image of those checks you might want to send those to him as well. (Be sure to blank out the routing transit number and your account number for security reasons.)
Good luck to us all.
Got notice of my pending refund $3000 (paid in $3250) for June 9th. Fingers crossed and hopeful. I didn't have any chargeback in progress.
Feeling good again.
Congrats to all of those who have gotten refunds, this is certainly a positive development and hopefully all will be made whole. Will be interesting to see if anyone who got a charge back somehow also gets a refund. Paypal and the credit card companies are typically pretty good at making sure that does not happen, but given how screwy this as been . . .
While I am not a buyer, maybe this is an positive omen that I'll also be surprised with good news, given my 14 month battle with the IRS to get a refund. I find it easy to compare the IRS and Kevin, since it both cases trying to talk to a live person or to get a response of any kind, requires a near miracle.
Hopefully those who paid by check, will hear something soon.
Just talked to the attorney. To be clear, Kevin and his attorney have NOTHING to do with the Paypal refunds showing up. Kevin has NO intention of issuing refunds, he is still intending to build the machines as soon as his attorney navigates through all the legalities which his attorney said will take 30-60 days. His attorney has no idea why a few people have received Paypal notices. In fact he said Paypal isn't cooperating at all. Paypal must be getting pressure from somewhere else.
Whatever it is if PayPal or someone else is thwarting Kevin's plans to continue production by making all his stolen money vanish before his eyes I have to say, that's pretty darn awesome.
Still, it's far from over. But it's a step. Still hopeful for the people that paid by check.
Quoted from PACMAN:To be clear, Kevin and his attorney have NOTHING to do with the Paypal refunds
Ugh, unfortunately that means those who paid by check are still hosed. Obviously the drama is far from over.
Just called Paypal and they gave me the "over 180 days" runaround. Unless you paid by credit card and got a chargeback you are still hosed. You guys that got refund notices, did you pay with CC or bank account? And how long ago was your payment? Paypal said the shitB account was locked and being monitored but could not tell if there was $750K in the account or $0. Maybe the FBI can go after Paypal for possession of stolen money.

I won't kill the messenger, but that's depressing news...

Go right ahead, put me out of my misery. So tired of this crook.

Attorneys say a lot of things.
Huh. Very interesting. I paid via PP with a linked checking account. Both my claims were closed by the Bank and PP, and they didn't get that far.
I'm amazed to hear that the Attorney says they aren't doing this. They gave me what I requested, which was less than I gave Kevin. I gave $3k and got $2,750 pushed to my account. I had told Kevin via email that I would take $250 less if that helped him issue refunds, and stuck to my word when I talked with his lawyer.
Wild, wacky stuff.
