The first one had one of the best scenes I’ve seen in a movie ... the one where the Americans get stuck at the border crossing and they know the Mexican gangsters are in one of the cars around them. Great cinema. The movie sort of petered out in the second half, but that scene was worth the price of admission.
The bit where they found all the bodies in the wall was pretty damn cool too.

I had to rewatch the first one last night. Benecio Del Toro is just top notch in both. Unfortunately, the 2nd one is just a slow burn all the way through.
