Quoted from AlexSMendes:Hey, welcome hazoff
Hi Alex, are u ready to be fondled in another thread. I'm a really great fondler.
Oh Hi RD how r ya.
Quoted from o-din:Vintage speed metal ala Priest!
Never heard that song before, my Preistly Passion starts with Painkiller but man what a great song, time to dig into the oldies, this is an oldie but best version for me is played live a few years back. KK's solo is one of the greatest I've ever heard.
Quoted from o-din:Well, you might not have been 15 years old in 1977 either.
3 years old, Priest was never something I listened to in the 80's or really even the 90's just recently in the last 10 years did I find appreciation for them and Painkiller is more my style but damn Sin after Sin is greatness.
Quoted from o-din:I'd know that album cover anywhere!
Man I'm hooked on 70's Priest, I had no idea and feel ashamed at my lack of knowledge considering how my I love that band.
Quoted from o-din:It was sad earlier to hear the passing of Dolores O'Riordan of the Cranberries. Maybe not the hardest of rock, but this song always takes me back. RIP.
Always really liked that song, hard to believe real music use to actually be the most popular.
4:06 Greatness. I still feel so foolish for not knowing any other Priest than Painkiller but also love the fact that I've gotten to discover the 70's stuff and 80's gold at this point when I can appreciate it even more so. Its win win.
Quoted from rotordave:I saw that Heaven and Hell tour here in Auckland. Its the only time I ever got to see Dio perform.
Small in stature ... kicked ass on stage. So cool ...
rd
Same, I did see Dio in the early 90's opening for Megadeth but at that time is was all about Megadeth wish I could go back not even sure what album Dio was riding on.
Quoted from Gryszzz:This one's for you RD! Happy "let's blow some shit up" day to ya bub.
What a great album, and what great pinball music.
Quoted from AVH7401:"On Fire" is probably my favorite Van Halen song, though I feel it is underrated
highly underatted as is this song #2 in my top 3 Van Halen songs
Quoted from pinkid:Terrible cover
What? maybe one of the greatest album covers of all time.
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:uh... Does your copy not have the blotchy red demon baby
Ofcourse, man I wish the sound was better on this record thats the only downside. Zero The Hero one of my favorite songs ever.
Quoted from rotordave:Now, for some big LOLs listen to Gillan talk about the dwarf!!
Theres a great doc on you tube with Ian talking about Born Again. What an amzing singer.
Quoted from mof:LOL where did u find this ??? 1984 cheesiness at its best.
Oh sweet Lee was big in '84 especially in Toronto. I was only 10 at the time but the video helped alot.
