A great album but I would have to go with this for the finest.

Quoted from o-din:

Vintage speed metal ala Priest!

Never heard that song before, my Preistly Passion starts with Painkiller but man what a great song, time to dig into the oldies, this is an oldie but best version for me is played live a few years back. KK's solo is one of the greatest I've ever heard.

#40 6 years ago

Never really listened to Sin after Sin before its amazing.

#44 6 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

Well, you might not have been 15 years old in 1977 either.

3 years old, Priest was never something I listened to in the 80's or really even the 90's just recently in the last 10 years did I find appreciation for them and Painkiller is more my style but damn Sin after Sin is greatness.

Quoted from o-din:

I'd know that album cover anywhere!

Man I'm hooked on 70's Priest, I had no idea and feel ashamed at my lack of knowledge considering how my I love that band.

Quoted from o-din:

It was sad earlier to hear the passing of Dolores O'Riordan of the Cranberries. Maybe not the hardest of rock, but this song always takes me back. RIP.

Always really liked that song, hard to believe real music use to actually be the most popular.

4:06 Greatness. I still feel so foolish for not knowing any other Priest than Painkiller but also love the fact that I've gotten to discover the 70's stuff and 80's gold at this point when I can appreciate it even more so. Its win win.

#327 6 years ago

Ur in for a ShockAAAAAAAAAA, love it.

Quoted from rotordave:

I saw that Heaven and Hell tour here in Auckland. Its the only time I ever got to see Dio perform.

Small in stature ... kicked ass on stage. So cool ...

rd

Same, I did see Dio in the early 90's opening for Megadeth but at that time is was all about Megadeth wish I could go back not even sure what album Dio was riding on.

#347 6 years ago

Jesus when I was 10 it was all about this guy and now we know for him it was all about me. Still a fan.

For me this just pure raw heavy stuff, not really Hard Rock or Metal but in a class of its own.
