Hi
Any one one recommended the nicest, pin blades to buy for my new GnR.?
Thanks in advance

#15675 2 years ago
Quoted from Sako-TRG:

The GnR official ones.
Speak with James at Pinball Bazzar, we all put an order with him a while back.
Not sure they are released yet though.

Hi Where are they from, are they from Pin Graffix ?

Locking balls when qualifying a band member.
I seem to be having difficulty locking balls in the guitar once a band member is qualified. As I understand it you should be able to lock 6, I seem to only be able to lock one then itā€™s released.
Any advise would be appreciated???

Quoted from Eskaybee:

Thereā€™s 2 scenarios that I can think of off hand that could be causing this:
1. You were in a booster multiball in which it sometimes releases the ball from the guitar lock rather than trough to handle any potential logic issues.
2. You might have virtual locks on in settings??
In either case the best way to track #of locks is by the revolver inserts in front of the flippers. Each solid green insert = a lock.
Note-1: drumstick is light green when collect and a more solid green like the others when locked.
Note-2: lock inserts are chosen by the order you collected band members.

Hi please could you explain where I can find virtual lock in the settings. ???

Quoted from LTG:

High power interlock - all wires on it ? If coin door is open and you pull it out do they work ? ( in case flap on door is bent )
Moving on - Back box. Please open it up, swing monitor out, with game turned on and high power intoerlock pulled out, are all the LEDs lit by the fuses on the I/O board ?
LTG : )

Please can you advise which is the high power interlock ? I will also check f701 fuse.

Quoted from sevenrites:

Just played another game tonightā€¦ Ball 1 I lost before I even hit 500,000. Almost wrote the whole game off then got my main patches, locked 6 balls, started a songā€¦. 4-5 songs later, ended up with over 111,000,000 and I even lost a ball during slash solo as usual. Blew over 50,000,000 on Welcome to the Jungle applause jackpot I just couldnā€™t hit for some reason, and blew another 24,000,000 or so on another song.
Got 2-3 extra balls just for cashing out songs I knew I didnā€™t have the energy to finish that offered extra ball. This is key because you can come out ahead. Why struggle to try and finish say 75% of a song when youā€™re down to 1 ball in play? I used to go for it all the time. But the extra ball, and going for more patches, skipping album modes and trying to lock the 6th ball to start another song seem to be more rewarding points wise, in the long run. Iā€™ll rock a song as far as I can but once Iā€™m down to the last ball I usually cash out now. My best song jackpots are shorter songs where I can keep at least 5 but many times 6 balls in play during the whole song till encore.
Still the usual - factory settings and outlanes, plenty of wax and a 7.2-7.3 pitch at flippers. Went for the same patches, Gun, Fender, Duff, Vater, then I go for Marshall and Gibson to get extra ball lit if I am down to last ball or if not Iā€™ll save them and go for Rose and Frankā€™s drumsticks first. I also almost never trap the ball during songs. Run and gun all the way.
Been recording overhead videos just in case anyone is curious how I play but didnā€™t put them online yet.

Hello
Only just got my GnR and am not sure if thereā€™s a problem as Iam finding bit different to lock more that 2/3 balls let a loan 6, do you think it is simply because iam hitting the purple target thus activating
lights multiball, also in other multiballs nalls saved are released. Any advice would be welcome.

Ok Thankyou Iā€™ll have a look sorry I ment PFD board.
Basically when the ball goes into the guitar lock a new ball isnā€™t being released into the ball trough.

#22753 1 year ago

Hi iv unplugged all the wires and re seated,
Iv done all the blue ones on main board under the playfield, but the sensor is still not working. Could the board have gone down ???

Check the connectors going to the board with the lock sensors on the guitar neck, and also the board in the shooter lane. Also check the tension on the wires going to the guitar neck. If it's too much it will pull just enough to make the connection to the guitar neck board intermittent.
