Quoted from zaphX:Make sure the USB security dongle is firmly plugged into the motherboard, it might have gotten knocked a bit loose in shipping.
- Remove backglass
- Pull monitor toward you (it's on an arm and held in with magnets)
- Security dongle will be a larger plastic thing plugged into the bottom of the metal box.
This is just a guess btw, based on the encryption-related error message.
Thanks a lot! Iāll be trying that first when I go over tonight.
Quoted from paynemic:A friend needs a little advice on his new LE. Wonāt boot.

Thanks for everyoneās suggestions. I put the latest code on a flash drive and itās reinstalled and factory reset perfectly! Up and running. What a beautiful game!!!
Anyone have a link to a known good usb stick? I think Iām running into the problem of the machine not liking mine. Rather than randomly trying every stick in the house, if someone had an Amazon link that would be sweet.
Thanks in advance
So my friends game is bricked! Not sure how I became his local tech support but here goes:
I gave him three imaged thumb drives (including one that I used before) and none worked. It shows the double progress bar screen then errors out. Thoughts? Bad ssd? It all started out when he turned on wifi. It died. I was able to do a full image last time. Then a month later he tried wifi again and it wouldn't boot. I tried to re-image the drive and it just errors out every time now.
