Quoted from CoolCatPinball:

What's everyone hearing from their Distros on ship dates for the LEs? My distro initially thought by end of month, but when I called and paid in full today they said they're crazy swamped with orders and would have to get back with me on an eta

yea scribbles, This is definitely a HIT. Word is the distributors are going Crazy. I paid $9500 for my next Pin to my Distributor on Friday. I had a feeling there was going to be Chaos on Monday. He verified today that He gets his LE allotment on Wednesday and will ship mine out on Wednesday or Thursday.

Im NOT a mod maker but found this today at Meijer in the Halloween decorations section for $9.99.
Looks like it could be modified or even used to make a mold for your own needs to mod .
Thought I would share in case any body would be able to utilize

Seeing R AND L Carriers in front of your House is Never a Bad thing!
Delivered this Morning and I was Impatient, I did Not want to wait for anybody to get off of work to help move downstairs, so I did it myself! 13 stairs down, I just tipped it and slid down 1 step at a time, in the BOX.
I used those ramps to get it up the stairs from the garage.

Checking in with LE #205
My first 2 games were horrible and I started to think - why all the hype!
Then It clicked, game started flowing and the shots started to get dialed in and Started to be FUN!
A LOT of FUN!
Its everything everybody is raving about. The Theme-Integration and Light show are amazing.
Yes its Multiball heavy!
However they counteracted that with the fan meter. Which will not let you take advantage of the multiball while in song
modes! ( NO Cradling)
Lots going on and lots to do in this game. A lot of different ways to score points and advance modes.

Inspected game and under the playfield before I played. I believe they did a great quality job on the build.
No Problems found!

Quoted from LukyDuck:

I am curious to know what albums people are receiving in their new pin? Pictures of one would be nice.

Albums?
Are we supposed to get an Album in the LE?

The album cover graphic on the spinner. Luck of the draw as to which one you get.

So my game is broken and has a problem. I thought I would post the details to help others in case this happens to yours.
I did have a tell sign. My contractor was working in the basement and playing. When i stepped up near him I smelled something cooking.
When my Stern Distributor came by the next morning to replace the subway in my Avengers, He played a couple of games and I noticed the Upper playfield Diverter was not going down, in order to access upper playfield.
So I investigated and found these pieces in the Cabinet.
Upon further investigation found they came from the popup diverter assembly.
The Piece is #12 and is called a Jam plate. It screws into the #17 guide bracket.
It must have been loose screws from the factory.
It would be nice if I could just screw the jam plate back and all we be good.

However even manually trying to move the diverter down was not working. There was a restriction inhibiting the coil to move the diverter shaft.
I took some pictures of inside the coil and found the coil sleeve melted inside the coil.
So looks like for starters I need a new coil.

Is this going to happen again?
From the design, It looks like the coil is energized quite often .
Energized = Diverter is up and ball will come back to left inlane
Not energized= Diverter would be down and allow the ball to go to upper playfield.

For now I disabled the diverter, so I do not have access to upper playfield but can still play the game.

The part # shows it is a Williams/Bally FL-11722 from Pinball life.
Just want to make sure its ok to use this?
I dont want to wait for warranty one to be sent out.
When they send me one, I will have one extra.
I just waited 3 weeks for my Stern Avengers new subway to get to me.

Quoted from Vino:

JJP just produced first edition digital manual that may help confirm part. If you are going to order the coil also consider carefully drilling the stuck sleeve out and replacing the sleeve if you have one on hand. Coils run hot but don’t often go bad. Just a thought to quickly get you back to 100%. Good luck

from my experience. New coils usually have new sleeves, Correct?

#1788 3 years ago
Quoted from Jvspin:

Like Lloyd said, the driver transistor is probably bad. The transistor often fails due to a poorly connected or bad protection diode.
If you just replace the coil, make sure to monitor that coil when you first turn the machine on. If it immediately locks on, shut off the machine before the new coil burns up. Then disconnect the coil and contact JJP support for a new board.

thanks that sounds like a plan.
Are you referring to the main board? Is the diverter resistor on the main board?

I have to give an update on my broken left ramp diverter coil meltdown.
I reached out to JJP support last night before I went to bed. I have confirmed service ticket at 1 A.M.
I went to bed
At 2 A.M. I get email from Steve at JJP support " asking me to check transistors"
So when I woke up at 8 a.m. I started to look into checking Transistors.
I work a little in the morning , so I called Steve at 11 A.M. and asked a few questions and we were able to verify that my transistors are GOOD.
We did find a Blown fuse.
So He is sending me Coil and sleeve and fuse.

What Im trying to say is THATS INCREDIBLE SERVICE!!!
I waited 3 weeks for stern to send me new subway assembly for Avengers!

Thanks Steve and Thanks to JJP for taking care of this!

Quoted from chuckwurt:

Why did your coil still overheat before the fuse blew? Was it over fused?

Not really sure on the why

Quoted from adamross:

Ball very often gets stuck here when the metal clamp comes down and holds it. Anyone else experience this?
[quoted image]

I have NOT had that problem. Your diverter is lowering too LOW. Check to see where it can be adjusted so it does not go that low.

Quoted from eagleeyemma:

Found this in cabinet but no screws anywhere that I saw.....any idea?
[quoted image]

That is the upper playfield diverter JAM PLATE
It has 2 screws 2 washers and 2 lock washers.
It fell off because something is missing or loose
JJP issued service bulletin .
