Hey all.
Snagged a deal on a late Sept pre-order for an LE. Excited to try it after having an SE for a bit.
Are the new builds from the factory improved in the post / washer department or do I still need to do the whole rip everything apart and replace them thing? Thanks!

With my Beatles, and Maiden, and TNA, and Wonka, and Quicksilver w/ micro playfield… I just ironed down stuff that showed up in the first couple weeks and slapped some Mylar circles down and it seemed to do the trick. Not sure if I’m up for tearing everything down and putting in better washers out of the gate, which frankly sounds exhausting LOL.
Was hoping JJP had switched to the PETG but sounds like a no, bummer!
Agreed on the 1600 plates. I have an October 21 build and it was 1644. Aside from a switch by the rubber on the upper PF being gapped too tightly it’s played flawlessly out of the box!

If you’re playing for points you’re not playing for the Wizard! Get in and out of songs as fast as possible, don’t worry about the booster jackpots, get your extra balls set up and try not to beef it on the album modes 
Spoiler alert: I have not gotten close LOL but it’s fun to shift strategies as it enables 2 very different ways of playing!
FYI the slash sculpt does block a bit of screen if it goes above the Axl lanes but not too badly. For now I ended up slapping it behind Axl on the upper PF though… just make sure it’s set back enough that the gate clears it!

This is the right way to enjoy it. I don’t bother with patches anymore. I just try to hit a few orbits, lock a few balls, and start a few boosters before each song starts and still get crazy scores without obsessively picking fender, duff skull etc… every game.
Slash solo can die in an F’ing fire though.
