Quoted from Mogg:

Was their any news today from JJP to distributors on the timeline....? I thought I read that somewhere sometime

I order my LE on the 8th and my Dist told me I was 7th in line out of then 40 he had on ordered already. He said it will be Nov - Dec till I probably get mine but he heard they might ship out more near the end of Oct and since he had 40 that mine might go out then. Here's hoping.

Quoted from BallyKISS1978:

I have one and use it on my Black Knight SOR and for my entertainment center. Great sub for the money.

How do you hook one up to a BKSOR? Really want one, but wasn't sure how. do you just alligator clip it to the bottom speaker?

Are the balls in a JJP similair to Stern? Should I buy some extra from Baron just in case ? This LE will be my first JJP.

#3291 3 years ago

I hope I get mine in this batch, I paid for it on the 8th of October. If I can only be so lucky.

Not that I am super anal about stuff, but I went over my machine just to see if I had any clearcoat issues and It does. One looks like a crack and the other seems to be overspill that will probably crack eventually. Game born date was 12/20. Haven't even plug it in yet.

Also hope this isnt a bad sign. I was checking my plugs to make sure everything was secure and the board had, "no good" written on it with a sharpie. Kind of makes me nervous . Hopefully it works.

Quoted from jalpert:

Silly question.
Is that clear or is that Mylar? There is Mylar is that area...

Good lookout! After touching it a bit I believe it is Mylar.

#4572 3 years ago

Btw, this games light show is INSANE. Videos do not do it justice.

#4585 3 years ago

This game is awesome, but the drains sdtm are real. The game is a lot tougher then I thought it was going to be. One question I do have is the spinning record suppose have some play in it? Mine isnt low or wobble or anything, but I can pull up on it and seem to cant tighten screw anymore.

Anyone know what causes this issue? Turn on the game tonight to this message. Says shooter lane 6 stuck open? Switch #102.

Quoted from Vitty:

Try going into the service menu settings->tests->device tests->sensors and hit start to calibrate. I believe that is the top most skill shot sensor that is tripped there.

Thanks! Found it! It was the, " Rock " sensor on the crowd meter.

Having issues with the latest update just sitting on the red screen and not unloading the data (finishing update screen). How do you go about using the usb because I'm not sure where to plug it in because the instructions don't line up with what's in front of me. Do I unplug the USB thing from the cable and plug it in or do I plug it into this open USB slot? Not sure where to plug it, dont want to mess anything up.

Quoted from Bmanpin:

Your hand is on it in the last picture. Remove that wifi adapter and plug in stick there. Follow instructions from JJP site for download on USB.

Thanks, that worked.
Also, it been bothering me for a while but how hard is it to move the main Monitor ? Mine came in slightly off.

ha, for some reason I thought that just cycled through the patches that I had already collected. You're saying I can choose any patch before collecting it and that is what I will earn?

Yes, you can choose what you get.

Wanted to get some ideas on how to protect a clear coat issue I have at the, "make some noise" flipper. The game was like this nib before I even played it and I haven't given it much thought, I figured if this might be an issue years down the road I would like to prevent any major issues if I can.

Quoted from Mattyk:

I believe I read that you can make an adjustment to raise the nut so it doesnā€™t come down and hit the playfield

Anyone know where to learn how to do this?? I was just made aware of this, and mine is bashing into the playfield as well.

While checking my playfield near my diverter for damage I found a suprise where the post are I assumed hammered in. Doesnt bother me to much, but it is a sad sight. I'm not sure what can be done to cover or save this from happening. Tips?

20210519_220723.jpg20210519_220723.jpg20210519_220920.jpg20210519_220920.jpg20210519_221030.jpg20210519_221030.jpg20210519_221105.jpg20210519_221105.jpg

Quoted from fooflighter:

There are 2 hex nuts on the diverter. Loosen those and raise the diverter slightly and resecure.
Test in the settings by triggering the diverter and seeing how your clearance is
You may need a carbon Cliffy to cover any damage that may have already occurred

Thanks for the help.
Also, I'm curious if pulling up the rails that seem to be hammered in near it is ok? Will they go back in snug if I do?

#9805 2 years ago
Quoted from PanzerFreak:

Damn, I'm sorry to see that happen to your game, I would report it to your distributor and or JJP. If you don't mind me asking what is your games build date?

Thanks, the date is 12/20.

#9830 2 years ago
Quoted from fooflighter:

Also, just to add, if everyone took a deep breath, start writing your distro and JJP via support tickets. Don't just explode on social media. Companies only fix or can adjust to what they can document. If everyone is "blowing up" about playfield issues, but sales are record breaking with no history of issue, then there is no issue from a recordkeeping standpoint.
Take a step back from the frustration..I know it sucks to have this happen to a new game...but keep your distro/JJP in the loop..take photos and document, mitigate the issue through washer/iron repair and continue to play while the issue piles up on Mirco's doorstop. Only then can real change happen...yelling about it or threathening not to buy does absolutely nothing.

I agree! I will be reporting my issue even though I am almost certain nothing will be done for me. But, if it helps future products or buyers of the game, I will feel like I atleast made that happen.

Quoted from dnapac:

I see your point. But itā€™s $1000 vs. $10000 out of my pocket for the gamble. Just not willing to stomach that. Know when to hold them, know when to fold them, and know when to run...as a wise man said.

For what its worth, I have a ton of playfield issues but I still love the damn game and I am happy to have it. I would keep the game if I was you, its a great pin and plays like nothing I ever played before. Its really addicting.

Quoted from dmj1977:

I have an issue with my left ramp diverter - itā€™s getting stuck under the ramp when in the down position. It has quite a lot of rotational play in it (such that the diverter can get caught on the edge of the slot in the ramp). I canā€™t see any way to tighten it or remove the rotational movement though. Does anyone know?

Check your playfield. Mine was doing this and it was banging against the playfield and chipping it. Had to adjust the screw a little higher and it stop getting stuck.

Quoted from Blu:

Yep, just got mine last week, and the left ramp is easily backhand-able.

feels good to backhand that left ramp right into a ball lock.

Quoted from zaphX:

For me, locking balls on the neck is too important. Especially during a song to clean up the playfield and to keep them safe.

Nothings more satisfying then backing handing the ball into the lock on the upper playfield. Love the upper pf on my gnr.

Quoted from holminone:

The game is exposing serious weaknesses. I think I kind of suck even though Iā€™m probably pretty decent.
1) My ability to hit the left ramp is effing horrible. I actually think my right flipper could go down because itā€™s not perfectly in line with the real guide. Itā€™s biased up. But my bigger issue is Iā€™m wondering if my right target at the ramp entrance is jammed in in cutting off a couple of valuable millimeters. I seem to catch the edge a lot. And it drives me crazy. Take a look at the photos and Iā€™d love to see what your games look like. Looks like a little bit of manufacturing variability and I might be able to Jimmy in a bit to create some more space but right now the shot is feeling harder than the tRex shot in Jurassic Park. My patch collection is suffering.
2) The translucent rubber below we are PinMonkā€™s ball saver plexiglass sits came broken. I put the same size white thing in there but itā€™s super loose and Iā€™m actually curious to know the actual rubber configuration. Photo attached. Love to see what you guys have on your games.
3) iā€™m going to steep in the game just to touch to 6.8 per the recommendation from earlier. I just suck.
4) Combo patch strategy. Iā€™m currently fixated on collecting fender marshal Vader and Gibson. Thinking that this is going to give me some sort of rockstar sort of band frenzy type stuff. But I think itā€™s futile. I would love to get some no-brainer objectives to inject a little more scoring ability during my song. By the way I just lost a 21 million jackpot in November rain which is pretty high for me.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

I found the left ramp is way easier if you backhand it off the left flipper. The right flipper is tricky and the brick will punish you hard.

Anyone made a solution for the balls going SDTM on the ball lock? Sucks when it ends a song on you during a failed power cord.

#16171 2 years ago

Sorry to ask but this Scorbit thing, is it display on the machine when you unlock an achievement like Stern or is it phone based only? If it doesn't come up on the machine then im not going to bother with it.

Quoted from Cayenne:

I have 2 pins with Convolux and totally 5000 games. No broken plastics. Overlapping is not needed. These protectors are installed in thousand pins and do their job.

Overlap is mostly pointless. Whats the chances that the ball hits square on or from the top down? If anything its coming from the bottom up.
