Quoted from LukyDuck:I called and spoke with my distributor today. He stated that JJP was hoping to provide delivery estimates and numbers this Friday to distributors. More to follow. Just running rough estimates based on passed releases, I am looking at a few weeks wait for my LE. I purchased mine early and am in the first third of the waiting cue.
What is first third of the waiting cue mean? Your like #15 for an Le from ur distributor?
Quoted from LukyDuck:Yes, #15 out of 45 on the wait list for an LE from my distributor.
Edit: so if my distributor is receiving 5 LE’s every 2 weeks, then it will be approximately 6 weeks before I see my LE.
Who are u goin thru?
Quoted from volkdrive:No machine yet, but my ex has a hobby that works to make a topper. Pic attached of preliminary work. Figuring a way to add some lighting to it. What are your thoughts out there?
[quoted image]
Holes in the eyes, music notes cut in th record, red led behind eyes, rgb behind notes, and figure out how to make the record spin but not the skull. Boom
When hooking up a sub, do u just run a line from the sub in the bottom of the cab to the external sub?
Just put up a poll for owners.
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/pollis-there-an-issue-with-your-gnr-playfield
So you guys that have had this game for 100 plays or more... do u love it? Gotten stale? Bolted?
Just curious on its lastability.
Thx a bunch!
Quoted from rwalters21:is it possible to transfer warranty on a new slightly used game? I just bought a low play SE yesterday which is maybe a month old, but the original owner registered it already.
Keep in touch w the original owner.. may be able to help u down the road if need be.
Im avoiding all videos of this game...dont want to ruin my first experience with it in person. My only outlet is reading these posts.
Damn...all these different issues out of the box is making me nervous about getting mine.
Seems like most people opening these pins have issues right away or within the first few games.
Quoted from highdef:EDR = Enhanced Data Rate
It was a much bigger deal back when the BT 2.0 spec was released.
I have been told that we will soon see a software update that should hopefully address the existing BT connectivity issues.
This is my Yamaha SR-C20A sound bar ("topper"), which honestly outperforms any similar-sized/priced Bose, Sony, or Vizio.
It has two full size drivers, dual passive radiators, and a built-in 3-inch "sub." You can also turn off the front LED indicators within the app.
[quoted image]
Is there a way to hook it up besides bluetooth? I hear BT sucks right now on gnr.
Quoted from Lermods:Installed mirror blades from Cointaker today, very sharp. I'm a sucker for these things.
I thought I saw saw some say their game was too tight and wouldn't fit. I thought the same, but there is plenty of room. Highly recommend these if you want to add depth to your game. They come with a hole so you don't have to remove the hinge bolts. Took like 10 mins to install and I use two spring clamps to hold the blades in place while I predrill and install the screws. I don't put a screw in the middle hole, not really needed.

Should i go black mirror or regular?
Is it the bally williams blades or the jjp ones on cointakers site?
Thx!
So finally got some time on gnrle over the weekend at Pincinnati, and have a few questions before pulling "ahem" the "trigger"...
1. Can you adjust how many balls are in each multiball?
2. For those that have a recent build...are you seeing any pf issues? Are the rubbers still junk? Are washers preinstalled?
3. Are all the nib games coming with inner art blades (not installed tho)?
4. Do you still love your gnr or is it kinda meh after a while?
Thx for any opinions and hope to be rockn with you soon!
Quoted from Hayfarmer:Mine is sept build. In response to your questions, you cant turn down the number of multiballs, but you can increase the difficulty in getting them.. no issues on field. Yes rubbers are still junk , at least on flippers and slings, yes washers installed. Art blades do not come with game, and mine is here for the long haul . Play it 10 to 1 over gz le.
Thx so much for the info!
I know this is buried in this thread somewhere...
1. Should i do a soundbar topper on my LE? Which one?
What is the best/easiest way to connect?
2. Or do i just need a sub? What do i need to connect it?
Is the pinwoofer kit worth it...played stock game on location and sounded pretty good out of the box.
Anyone just put a little mylar in front of the scoop? Seems like an easier solution instead of a cliffy...
Quoted from DeathHimself:Going through some of my extra stash box and found another 3.5" mini Slash that I used on the back stage area to place him.
If anyone is interested in him just looking to get back what I had paid, 65.00 shipped in the US. If your interested please shoot me a PM.
See below photos of the actual item and my machine where I had placed him. The package which isn't all that great from shelf wear etc... as these were out some time ago and hard to find now.
I do accept PP as FF.
Thanks[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Doesnt he block the pf screen?
Quoted from DeathHimself:Actually no not at all, If fact with the video on behind it's almost as if he is imitating Slash as he does in concerts when he jumps up in front of the
On the original, it doesn't really protect the front. There's a picture floating around of I play field chip right at the front of the scoop. The cliffy would seem to protect that area much better. That said, there have been recent reports that the cliffy tab that holds it in place can break after a lot of use. I personally have the cliffy on mine and I think it's worth it.
Anyone try just adding mylar to the front of the scoop?
Quoted from jacksparrow0112:Absolutely thrilled! Just got our final payment notice from JJ at Game Exchange of Colorado! Our
LE just arrived today and is being delivered on Monday. This is our family’s first NIB game and it’s an absolute dream theme. I’m also obsessed with this art package and cannot wait for it to actually be sitting in our home. We also have tix to see slash in Denver next month. Looks like our patience in 2021 is finally paying off. RnFnR baby!!!
When did u order it?
Looking for a colored plastic protector set ...the blue set from lermods is out of stock and im not interested in the set from germany especially since u need to buy longer screws and new spacers.
Any leads on any others out there?
Quoted from atg1469:I bought/installed the full set from Freddy’s and did not require any new screws or spacers. Used exactly what was on the game originally.
It looks like that set sits flush w the edge of the game plastics... there isnt any overhang.
Is that correct?
Also...which part is the hardest to install or was it easy?
Fyi
Cointaker mirror blades do not come with plastic slide protectors...only with the art blades.
Anyone know of any other slide protectors that work w mirror blades?
Quoted from glpinball:It's tight and requires some maneuvering but doable.
[quoted image][quoted image]
Scott pinstadium has them as well. So totes doable.
Where u get the protectors tho?
Quoted from John-Floyd:Thanks for the recommendation Hayfarmer - love the lermods Backbox LED’s. Huge improvement.
[quoted image]
Warm white or cool white?
Quoted from Vespula:If anyone was ever interested in Pinstadiums Built for GnR.. they just announced a new limited run of 50, now 43 left currently, taking orders now shipping in April. Last run sold out in 2 days!
https://pinstadium.com/product/neo-concert-edition_pinball_mods/
Talk about a great promo video... wow.My guess it looks warm white in the photo.
I went cool white . Warm introduced Just a hair more orange than I preferred. And the blue end of the spectrum more pronounced in the cool whites allowed the other colors to pop more. I had both to compare.
Can i get a pic of your cool white backglass?
So how are everyones servos and spotlights holding up?
Do they all break or is it a lot better now?
Debating on buying the lermods upgrade kit and some better servos...
Quoted from PinsNJeeps:You’ll need 4 of these.
EMAX ES3054 20g Metal Gear Digital Servo
Part#: EMX-0102004012
I ordered mine from HobbyTown, but there are other places that might be cheaper. The servos along with the upgrade kit is all you should need.
https://www.hobbytown.com/emax-es3054-20g-metal-gear-digital-servo-emx-0102004012/p1127012?utm_source=transactional_email&utm_medium=e-mail&utm_campaign=order_complete&utm_cid=5406760&utm_content=%2femax-es3054-20g-metal-gear-digital-servo-emx-0102004012%2fp-xqyxhefqzeant4yz
Thx!
Quoted from PinsNJeeps:Yep! This is exactly what mine was doing. Exact same behavior. It’s the y axis. I drew an arrow to the one to swap out.
Reach out if you need help.
[quoted image]
Terrible picture.
Lol
Quoted from PinsNJeeps:I had the exact same problem. I added a clear zip tie and it fixed it 100% for me so I haven’t touched it.
Also, for those interested attached is a pic where to put the some foam (weather stripping) on the pop bumper. This was a 100% fix for me. Thanks you to whoever posted this solution before.
[quoted image][quoted image]
It looks like u put the weatherstripping directly on the pop skirt... is that correct?

Anything im missin?
Quoted from SuperMas77:Liors skull and bullet shooter is a sweet mod. Then again, all the mods he makes are top notch. I also like the robot eye start button mod.
Lior makes some cool stuff for sure... i might get the lock bar.
The red eye button.... can any owners chime in on this? Worth it?
Quoted from Vespula:Sven's backstage upgrade kit
Lermods trough and backbox led kit
I hear the backstage kit can mess with the bass ramp, and the right ramp speaker wont work with pinstadiums because of the mounts for it...
Not sure i need the backboard/trough kit, since i have the pinstadiums... am i mistaken?
Quoted from Hayfarmer:Pinwoofer!!
I have a nice sub and hookups for it. Maybe thats not good enough?
Quoted from screaminr:Nothing official , but I like the keyring mod .[quoted image]
Okay... i want this! I actually looked for one a few days ago and could only find one for like $50 bucks from europe on ebay. Anyone have a lead on one?
Quoted from killborn:Bullet switch covers
Not a fan of the way these look. Just my personal opinion.
Quoted from screaminr:I got the arkenstone start button because I like blue and it looks really good in videos but the start button does wobble about in the housing and feels a bit cheap , so I don't know if I will install it , I can't comment on the red one .
The keyring cost me about $50 aud delivered from England and they didn't have many left but it's my favourite cosmetic mod on the game , it does not look cheap , unlike some other keyrings I brought
I still have to install mirror blades , pinwoofer , topper , lit Flipper buttons , skull shooter rod but to be honest I've really been enjoying it as it is and don't think it really needs much , except for the Pinwoofer or at least a subwoofer .[quoted image][quoted image]
Do u have a pic of your pf straight on from a players perspective. Would like to see how the keychain mod looks from a standard vantage point.
Quoted from PinMonk:Magnetic reed switches. M&M creations. You're looking for Sonic
I'm considering doing the two switches on the right orbit myself. I think that bottom one shifting left to right as the ball comes over it is what kills ball momentum and causes rattle-backs.
Do u just mount them and take the wires from the switch and solder them on?
How much are they?
Is there a site?
Thx
Quoted from hiker2099:New owner today, got a new Jan build GnRLE .. Absolutely love this game. However, a few issues I need advice on:
1. The bottom piece of wood of the head cabinet is cracked on the bottom. Should I return or try and fix?
2. Glass has three big black rubs. From rubbing the metal on playfield is my guess. I assume they will send me a new one.
3. The spring on the shooter rod is too weak. It won’t launch a ball. I had another spring from a different game which I had to adjust to get just right.
I plan on contacting JJP on Monday. I am looking for advice on each issue. Pics attached.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Lord that sux...
They will prolly send u a new game if u send the old one back of course. Or maybe just send backbox for a new one. Neither are great options.
For me i would try to fill it with black crayon and see if that looks okay.
You could always take 3/4" chrome car trim and put it around the entire border...ive done this too a few games and actually looks cool.
Just depends on a few things... how patient are you? Hows your back? If this is bolted and you can make the crack disappear...are u okay with that?
I keep going back and forth on tantrums 3d flipper toppers...
They are nice no doubt, but for me personally i think just having the flippers stock black looks good and puts more focus on the pf art.
But i do love flipper toppers...
What to do?
Im going to get the lermods trough and backboard led kit.
Do i need the 12v splitter they offer as an option when checking out, or is there another place to power these besides the topper 12v power source?
Quoted from Lermods:Thanks for the positive feedback on our light mod. We haven’t adjusted the instructions and still feel the best mount is straight across the metal trough and not under the apron. This is the same recommended mount for all machines and manufacturers. One thing that helps with the install is to first remove the apron so you have easy access to the metal trough. Apron is easy to remove, just two nuts and two screws. With the apron off, you place the strip high enough so it does not interfere with the ball. The top of the led strip may slightly over hang the metal trough, but that’s really not an issue. Also we supply an alcohol pad so make sure you clean the metal trough before adhering the strip. That’s pretty much it. I show a pic from wonka below, ball easily clears the strip. In that pic, I would even suggest installing the strip with the black heat shrink shifted further to the right off the trough.
As for the splitter, it’s not needed if you don’t have anything already plugged into the empty two pin connector in the back box.
Hope that helps.
[quoted image]
Doesnt the topper use that connector in the backbox?
Curious...
I have an extra surround system w sub for a home theater setup.
Is there a way to hook that system up to the pin to play through those speakers and sub?
These blue protectors are back in stock if anyone needs some.
I keep going back and forth on if im a buyer...

Screenshot_20220127-171640_Chrome (resized).jpgQuoted from deejaypee:Why they don’t put the blue snubber parts up on the site is beyond me. I’ve called and emailed about those and about a couple of other things and only received one reply—which they did not follow up on after I responded with the info they requested. Some of us have gotten phenomenal customer service from JJP. Others of us, not so much.
I read someone put electrical tape on them. I may try that.
I have the lermods trough/backboard rgb led kit… trying to figure out which connection to hook to.
Looks like i hook to the molex that runs the backbox light, but would need a splitter…but ive been told i dont need a splitter.
So where is this open connector?
Also having trouble disconnecting this molex connector for the backbox light kit… any suggestions?
Help me. Lol
Quoted from Vespula:Looks like it's that big fat one right in the middle of your picture with the black and yellow wires
[quoted image][quoted image]
Its already connected to something else from factory.
Quoted from ls1chris:maybe this connector?[quoted image]
Thats the connector from the lermods led strip not from the pin.
Quoted from Lermods:Possible it’s in that black tubing or further to the right where we can’t see in your pic.
Ill check tomorrow.
Also still cant get that other molex connector seperated… crazy, usually its a simple tug.
Tyx lermods for the help! U guys are great all around!
Cam amyone do a metallic bullet for the flipper toppers. Brass casing at the bottom and chrome the rest?
It really says something about a pin when so much can be fukd up but yet we push on to resolve the problems just because it freakin rocks so hard!
Love it!
Happy Vday gentlemen and ladies!
Quoted from Xelz:LE is shipping in the next week or so, and think I've got everything I need on order. Am I missing anything important from a proactive maintenance and spare part standpoint?
Here's what I have so far:
- Titan silicone rings, 1/4" larger than stock in most cases
- PinMonk fans
- PinMonk air ball shield
- Ball Baron carbon steel balls
- Emax ES3054 servos
- PETG washers
- Cliffy's
- Nylon washers for the leg bolts
I have a few cosmetic upgrades like art blades plus PinWoofer incoming, but mostly I want to get the machine up and running as quickly as possible with spare parts on hand for common problems like the servos.
Mylar shooter lane, foam for pop bumper skirt, oil for lock diverters, lermods back box led kit, and blue rubber nubs around middle scoop.
Quoted from PinMonk:Yeah, sorry it took until the evening. Had a lot going on and couldn't get the pic for it done until tonight. Realized after the fact that I left the hex cap screws that are in the kit out of the pic. I'll fix it in post.
Ordered!
You rock btw!
Not sure i will have an issue w my mag or diverter… but this is good peace of mind.
Question… the right screw at the top of my left ramp doesnt sit flush like the left screw, its about an 1/8” up. I thought it was just loose and tried to tighten but its as tight as it can get.
Anyone elses pin have this?
Maybe they put the wrong length screw in there???

4EAD2D2A-A3BE-4D70-B982-6485840230C6 (resized).jpegQuoted from holminone:I’ve got mine dialed. I also run an external sub. But my settings are as follows
1) default audio out of the core system volume ranges from 18 to 30 depending upon time of day or mood
2) pinwoofer.
Bass Frequency. I like mine at about 11:30 to 11:40 am (imagine a clock)
Bass volume: max
Back box volume: max
Treble. Maybe 1 to 2 mm up from min. It’s pretty bright response imo.
Volume: 3 to 4:00 pm
3) sub. Crossover approximately 72. Volume. Medium to higher depending upon sub and preferences.
Why AM? I prefer PM.
Lol
Quoted from fooflighter:Awesome get from Back Alley Creations at TPF, just installed them tonight
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Why not cover all 4 flippers? Set only comes with 3.
Quoted from woodmedic:My new LE is being shipped out to me today! Beyond excited. I have a lot of reading to do in order to catch up!!!
APRIL FOOOOLS!!!!
Ball from scoop was center draining… added 1 washer to each of the two left screws. Hits the tip of the left flipper.
Should i add another washer to each screw to get it to shoot more left?
I have tried multiple power adjustments to that coil… doesnt help.
Under the pf on the scoop bracket. Theres 2screws on left and on the right.
So ur sayin you put a washer on top of the pf?
Quoted from Vespula:Why is my GnR mystery award letters (ricochet sound) constantly and randomly triggering on it's own?
I'm this video I'm just trapping a ball and I'm accumulating letters for mystery award.
Because you own a GNR.
Jjp just sent me a replacement switch (diode went bad) for the center scoop… curious if anyone has replaced theirs and how difficult it was?
Thx!
Quoted from PghPinballRescue:Just make sure you get the 2 wires soldered to the same lugs on the new switch as they were on the old switch.
When reattaching the switch, you may need to adjust it a few times before you have it dialed in where it needs to be.
The easiest way is to leave one screw loose, and the other snugged up enough that the switch stays where you adjust it to.
Once you have it adjusted, snug up both screws.
Overtightening the screws will cause the switch to bind up and stay in the closed position, so be careful of that.
Thx for the advice!!
Quoted from Vespula:Bout time if you want nib. Never too late to join this club.
No way. Best game. You deserve it!
Yup It's not a plunge, it's a skill shot.
Good. Then you'll be fine. Once you understand the purpose of the multi balls you'll actually want to get them so that you can go into the song and really rock the game.
Can't wait to hear what you have to say after a couple hundred games at home.
#truth
Quoted from william30513:Ok I just got my JJP GNR LE. After getting it out and setting it up and trying to test it out, something seems wrong with the plunger strength. It wont shoot the ball past the top flipper on the right and falls into the playfield area. I marked the area in the photo, thats about as far as I can get the ball to go when shooting. Even when it auto shoots the ball, it wont go past this area. Any ideas? Is there a setting for the shoot strength on this? I called JJP and couple of days ago and had to leave a voicemail and they have yet to return my call. Thanks.
[quoted image]
This is fukn hilarious btw!
Quoted from cybevenom:a funny thing happened on the way to my Guns n' Roses concert last week.
