The trim, baby. Gotta have the trim!

Amazing!! I can't wait!

#13 3 years ago

The CE is PACKED!!! Can't wait!

#19 3 years ago

The video is awesome! Hell of a drop by JJP and SDTM!!

#23 3 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

When can we start the official club thread?

Game is released, Club Thread started here!
Welcome back

#28 3 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

Rules are can't start a club thread until games are delivered.

I thought it was annouced and can be purchased .. unlike Deeproot

#32 3 years ago
Quoted from player-one:

I ordered a CE. Can't wait for it to arrive

One of the best days in Pinball in a long time! I've heard 100 LE's ready to ship/shipped, 100 SE's next, followed by 100 CE's. Should be soon ... this game is a thing of beauty!

#34 3 years ago

Great, quick comparison of the three games; with track list!

The art on the Standard is pretty damn cool!! Glad they did not go plain!

#42 3 years ago
Quoted from SDVmnt:

Paid up for an LE, should be shipped tomorrow!

Holy hell, that is how to do it right!!! Video the unboxing, you know everyone have questions!

Quoted from mthirkell:

Anyone know a distributor who is not charging sales tax to PA

Flippin Out?

#49 3 years ago
Quoted from Freakyguy666:

he PURPLE POWDER COAT and MIRRORED RADCALS are a thing of beauty

Cannot wait to see it in person!

#54 3 years ago
Quoted from Lermods:

Can't wait to see it in person and play it.

And maybe create some Mods?

#57 3 years ago
Quoted from Mrawesome44:

Seriously considering moving my avengers deposit to an Le

It's at this point, Stern said .. sh!t! Game over ... lol

#61 3 years ago
Quoted from sammiesguys:

Does it makes sense to buy direct or go thru a distributor?

A distro will be able to help with any issues; not sure if you have the same 'pull' if you buy direct? I've never purchased direct.

Don't forget the $56/ticket fee...

My last ticket was 850, for each one

GnR .. the postponed tour.

#190 3 years ago
Quoted from CoolCatPinball:

I asked the mods to change the thread to the CLUB sub forum to minimize confusion and formation of more threads. You're welcome Dallas_Pin

Thanks .. it was on my list 'to do' ... the CE excitement and work hell caused confusion

#221 3 years ago
Quoted from Mr68:

I have a confirmed CE email and paid receipt from my distributor. I'm not very worried.

The paid in full receipt from my distro means I will sleep well tonight knowing my CE is confirmed!

Quoted from Concretehardt:

Why is this appetite for destruction album cover banned?

I won’t get into much detail, but many say the woman was sexually assaulted in this illustration.

Good article: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/guns-n-roses-appetite-for-destruction-cover-controversy/

#266 3 years ago
Quoted from RikeIsland:

How quickly do y’all think the LE will sell out?

They are making 5000 ... no time soon. You'll be good when you're ready

#330 3 years ago
Quoted from fnosm:

send the signed sticks to Kruzman for a good clearcoat o

That's a great idea! If I get my CE soon enough, I can ship them so he can ship them back with my 2 PF's

#395 3 years ago
Quoted from dos_reboot:

Eight pages and I still haven't seen one 'I'm in' or 'I'm out'.

In with a CE. Period.

#818 3 years ago
Quoted from Maiden:

JJP just charged my card $1k

I paid in full to my distributor. Hope that means I get one of the first

#1027 3 years ago
Quoted from Bmanpin:

More
Disappointing on a new game that you have spent 9,500.00 on?

It’s part of pin ownership. All companies have issues; it’s how they deal with the issues that set them apart

#1050 3 years ago
Quoted from Bmanpin:

Where is the QC?

Ask Gary Stern. He hired a Head of QA and yet they still have a ton of issues.

#1091 3 years ago
Quoted from Mr68:

meltdown over his coindoor latch falling off during shipping of his NIB ACNC.

That is still the highlight of that thread .. and everyone posting their coin door locks when they got the machines. Brilliant!!

#1121 3 years ago
Quoted from Medisinyl:

so in the event I do make any mods for it (game doesn't look to need any)

Love your mods in my ACNC and I imagine if GnR needs some mods, your talent fits right in!

#1258 3 years ago
Quoted from PinballGalore:

No one has mentioned the Jukebox feature in attract mode

Not implemented at this time. It's pretty cool on ACDC, the display shows an older looking radio dial and you scroll from song to song. Looking forward to JJP's version.

#1469 3 years ago
Quoted from Sako-TRG:

I was told my BM66 when I opened the box I noticed it immediately - not uncommon!!

JP LE in the same condition ... 0 shits given by Stern.

#1531 3 years ago

Found this interesting from another thread. Appears some early models were produced in Jersey almost 1.5 years ago. Perhaps these were the ones with the PF issues?

#1532 3 years ago
Quoted from PinWoofer:

The PinWoofer solution is by far the easiest solution, delivering superior audio with perfect all-internal integration!

Love the PinWoofer product in my other machines! I'll need to install it in my CE ... whenever it lands

#1538 3 years ago
Quoted from CoolCatPinball:

WTF?? Really? Sure that's not photoshopped?

Not sure .. posted in another thread on Pinside. Found it interesting. Not sure if prototypes/samples have SN assigned?

#1591 3 years ago
Quoted from dts:

all LEs have the same new process as well

This is not a true statement if they were building GnR in July 2019.

#1602 3 years ago
Quoted from Pinballomatic:

Prototype game. Period.

Are serial numbers assigned to prototypes?

#1729 3 years ago
Quoted from fooflighter:

flange that sits under the playfield, secured from below and the post is actually part of the flange that goes through the post hole with a threaded center to screw down the plastics to

Isn’t this a larger t-nut? It is not a post problem, it’s a playfield printing and clearing problem

#1730 3 years ago
Quoted from Yelobird:

German T2/BOP, (silk screen old school)

Peter’s work is solid!! Their company could/should grow and build JJP’s playfields, from printing to clearing. If you’ve ever seen one, they are amazing! No issues, ever.

#1764 3 years ago

JJP warranty is a good read.

http://marketing.jerseyjackpinball.com/general/jjp_warranty-updated.pdf

To note: Bumper to Post warranty for 30 days ONCE delivered!

#1980 3 years ago
Quoted from Sako-TRG:

Hey PinMyster.......
Have you had time to look at an external top setup for GnR?

I will say @pinwoofer's in my other pins is amazing, both music pins and movie pins. I'll be adding his system to my CE without a doubt. Why not make great - greater!

#1981 3 years ago
Quoted from zr11990:

Some brilliant modder should design a topper like the CE. It would sell.

Check with Lior. He's hinting ...

#2000 3 years ago

Post 2000!! Still no CE’s on the line!

#2135 3 years ago

Per the TPN/ The Pinball Show is sounds like each distro will be getting a 'few' LE's end of November and a small run of SE's after the 'few' LE's. CE's appear to be early 2021 per @zmeny?

JJP just threw a big middle finger at everyone of us who bought a CE. Let alone standing silent on the playfield issues. WTF JJP!?! I can't even get a returned email or call from them.

#2374 3 years ago
Quoted from nicoy3k:

Download the PinGuy app to make sure you are at 6.5 or more, those bubbles are not to be trusted

I second this! Pinguy app over the level in the machine. Also helps with side-to-side leveling.

#2379 3 years ago
Quoted from punkin:

but still full of GnR love from Pinwoofer.

Hell yes!! Let us know how it sounds when you get the machine to go with it!!

#2405 3 years ago

This is the full GnR experience

#2607 3 years ago
Quoted from delt31:

Any owners here have GnR DE too?

Yes. And it's not going anywhere when my CE comes in. It's still a great DE and with a Color DMD, Pinsound and PinWoofer - it's amazing!

#2609 3 years ago
Quoted from javagrind888:

My distributor is telling me probably this month.

For which model?

1 week later
#2976 3 years ago
Quoted from Skyemont:

If I knew the CE’s were going to be 2025, I would have gotten a LE to tie me over.

I second this ... and depending on the wait, I might anyway. JJP's has great marketing, but their sales communication sucks!

#2980 3 years ago
Quoted from romulusx:

JJP has great marketing

Look at their GnR launch, look at their revised Social media presence, look at them extending into non-traditional media with the GnR launch. So yes, their marketing is working. Their communication and delivery suck ass.

#3099 3 years ago
Quoted from kermit24:

At least 60 games in that photo.

Find it odd they are filling a container with just LE and SE; seems like a special trip for the CE's going overseas will be at some other point. Sad.

#3225 3 years ago
Quoted from Skyemont:

Did anyone else notice the WANTED GNRCE ads went from 14 to 3.

Their ads likely expired due to the 6 week limit

#3247 3 years ago
Quoted from Skyemont:

November is gone brother. Maybe December for you and I.

Don’t be greedy, add me to the CE Club in December! I hate reading their bullshit marketing on FB with no delivery communication for CEs!

#3944 3 years ago
Quoted from Pan94:

Found a nice souvenir from the assembly line workers

I’d send it back ... not sure if it’s like an auto shop, but often techs buy their own tools. Usually they are the higher end (SnapOn, Mac) and this time of year can be hard.

Have this spot on my upper playfield.

Slash put his cigarette out on your PF! One of a kind!

#4246 3 years ago
Quoted from Skyemont:

I think that is the same CE that was shown a while back. Look at the yellow pole.

Damn it!!!

#4247 3 years ago
Quoted from TaTa:

It may be the same yellow pole even though every pole in the factory is painted that color.

Good eye ... one is on a lift and one is on legs. Maybe we are in action!

5000 posts!! What an amazing game

#5024 3 years ago
Quoted from Skyemont:

CE coming in the morning from R&L. Can’t wait to join the club.

Congrats bud!! We probably won't hear from you for months now ... lol

2 weeks later
#5618 3 years ago

CE arrived ... such an amazing game. But 8 games later, issue with the trough. Ball drains and the trough is not recognizing the drain. Can cycle through the ball trough test and every ball fires fine. Play 1 game, everything seems okay. 2nd game, same issue. No errors.

** Note, upon reboot Coma lock error is triggered. I would assume related?

#5622 3 years ago
Quoted from Lermods:

If the sensors are going nuts, game thinks there is a ball on the playfield

Sensors are good and they recalibrate upon reboot. Nothing crazy there (first place I actually went based on others in this thread).

#5623 3 years ago
Quoted from zaphX:

Coma lock is likely a red herring, that fires if it doesn't see use in X games.

Thanks ... I'll see if I can trigger it manually.

#5628 3 years ago
Quoted from Lermods:

Does your switch matrix show anything active that maybe shouldn’t be?

Wheel CW 2?

#5631 3 years ago
Quoted from LTG:

If it starts again. Please go into Tests - Switches - Matrixed and bang on playfield.

This and wiggling the hell out of the harnesses let me find my issue. A wire harness to the ball trough was not 100% tight. To the eye, it was fine. Wiggle them, it was triggering the trough optos. Cinched it tight and back to 100%!

Live and Let Die is f$ckong amazing!!!
