Quoted from thechakapakuni:I’m curious if anybody is letting their NIB game sit for 6 months before playing to cure the clearcoat. Sounds like this is the real culprit here.
To be honest makes no diff. The force is already been put on the playfield with everything connected . If it was a new playfield that you put stuff on later then maybe. But I think the clearcoat is the issue. As I have playfields here from mirco that are over 1 year old stored in a good place and the coat is still soft
Better buy from the distro that way you can at least go there and discuss a issue you may have. That way more people handle a problem then just emails going back and forth with the JJP reps
Quoted from PinMonk:Did you try hardening it with UV light? Soft after a year is crazy.
PinMonk no i did not. Don’t even want to haha. It’s crazy if people even have to UV cure there playfields
