Quoted from BallPin:

Anyone have video of the Jukebox attract mode?

Thereā€™s no special screen for it. In the menu you set the songs to either play in order or random. Then hold the lockdown bar button down to start a song and you either get music only, music plus video, or music plus video plus lights. Itā€™s very cool!

Here's a screenshot during one of songs in Jukebox mode with the setting Music plus Video & Lights.

Quoted from BallPin:

Nice! I wish there was an option to have the video portion just show the graphics instead of the live concert footage. Would of been perfect!

I'm pretty sure the custom animation doesn't run the entire time behind them during a concert. A lot of the time the big screen behind the stage is showing the band. Its not all live footage in Jukebox mode.

Quoted from Jason_Jehosaphat:

Links to Streams of the Standard Edition?
Flip N Out Pinball streamed the SE back in late October. With all due respect to Mr. Webb and Flip N Out, the stream is of limited usefulness as it's so dark that I can't really see the game. If you know of any other streams or YouTube clips of the Standard, I would love to have a link.
Thanks!

Quoted from Zanado:

Month end and the distributor in Australia is selling the merchandise. Shirts, caps, badges, posters, a translate, the blanket/cover

Quoted from TaTa:

Wow... definitely not cheap but still would buy the Merch bundle when available in the states

The US prices should be much less than the AUS prices.

I own all of these. I donā€™t really care who wins game of the year, I want them all to be successful and continue building games.
My quick thoughts on each (so far)

R&M: Toughest shooter, best callouts, great humor and light show

GnR: Best integration, best light show, best sound, linear ruleset

Hot Wheels: Best shooter (hard to beat a well done fan layout), great light show and fun ruleset, weakest theme

AIQ: Best layout, great flow, deepest rules(not always a positive), weakest of the bunch in animation and callouts

All will be in my collection for quite a while.

Quoted from Skyemont:

Iā€™m hearing rumors the CEā€™s will be in the line by or before the 20th of Dec. OMG if this is true.

The 20th is this Sunday and they just showed more SEs on the line yesterday.

Quoted from TaTa:

Have you used these before? Or anybody else on this thread? I know it protects the playfield but multiple people told me that dust gets underneath of it and can sometimes make it worse. I also realized this won't stop the pulling from happening either but is what I was told true? I'm only inquiring because I would really like to put one on my CE.

Iā€™ve had these on 3 or 4 games and hated them on all except WoZ. It helped the speed on WoZ, but the ball sliding around felt so unnatural that I garbaged them. It also caused air balls.

#4271 3 years ago

If you cut it to take a short cut in places, youā€™re going to have problems with balls getting hung up.

And dust is going to get under them eventually since theyā€™re just floating on the pf.

Quoted from screaminr:

Will the Playfield protector affect the sensors for where the piano keys are .

Thatā€™s a good question. You also have the skill shot sensors and the ball locks.

Quoted from pduffy:

Did youget an email or anything that it shipped? I ordered a banner but havenā€™t heard anything? Thanks

Yes, I received a tracking number. I was told the banners are being printed.

Quoted from konghusker:

Doesnā€™t that lock basically just act like a second ball trough, releasing a ball back to the ball trough itself? Iā€™m guessing it was an afterthought mech just to try to add to the CE list. Thatā€™s how I understood it works from hearing eric talk about it. Itā€™s something I guess, but didnā€™t miss it on the other models Iā€™ve played.

Yes, itā€™s like a second drain. Once the post releases the ball, it goes down to the ball trough.

#4894 3 years ago
Quoted from Dkjimbo:

Does the Coma Lock have the ability to put the ball back in play? or does it just drop the locked ball into the trough and then the trough kicks a ball back into play?

No, it just drops it into the trough.
