Stupid question. On the SE. there’s the clear plastic guitar over the left ramp. I see a wire running to it. Is it supposed to light up? Mine doesn’t if it is supposed to.

Bump on this
Quoted from screaminr:From the pictures I've seen , it's meant to light up and looks really cool when it is .[quoted image][quoted image]
That’s what I thought. I’ll have to investigate. Thx

I’m going to try to remove the heat shrink and check for a broken lead. Hoping that’s the only issue but I want to make sure it’s not turned off or something before I start tearing wires apart.
Called JJP, I’m sure they have bigger fish to fry. No call back.
Quoted from frobozz:It's generally on all the time. If you go into test mode it should definitely turn on. There's a setting under Game Settings:Devices to change how bright it is, but "Off" isn't one of the choices.
It's driven like a coil, if you go into coil test you can see which one.
I'd start by looking at the connectors in the backbox that go from the playfield to the IO board - it's possible that this is the only thing on that connector, and if it pulled off in shipping you wouldn't otherwise know. And then look how it's connected underneath the playfield. Something might have come loose there., either the whole connector, or one pin in the housing or something.
Bingo. Checked at lunch and it was a loose connector! Thanks.
Leave it to me to always start at the worst and most difficult diagnosis before I check the obvious easy fixes. Lol
Thanks.
Only had my first jersey jack game 2 weeks and not super impressed with the build quality.
I’ve already had it open 3 or 4 times for minor repairs and adjustments.
Was on my way to my best game ever with over 13 million and only on ball two and the bottom right flipper goes out.
I opened it up to find the pin holding the flipper assembly laying in the cabinet. Put it back in to find the opening must have worn and it’s a very loose fit.
I know I’m the 2nd owner but for Christ sakes this game was made in February and has only about 300 games on it. How is it literally falling apart already.
So disappointed with this so far. Love the game. But I’ve never had to open any game 5 times the first week or two.
Can a guy try a bigger pin or should I be replacing the plunger
