Most of my extended family now love Pinball as a result of coming out and visiting. Two are now full fledged pin heads and the number is growing.
Fun to see this title spark interest in my family as most of the men that are my age we’re into rock in the 80s and are totally behind this.

GnR is my sister's favorite band (knows how to play all the big songs on piano), and she's already planning to make a trip here once the LE arrives. She hasn't had any interest in pinball before, so it's a step

Same guy, with no prior PM to me, publicly posted that he was having a problem with me (after only a few days, yet claimed it had been a week), because his made to order (with a waitlist) mods didn't ship immediately... Only person to ever do that amongst 1000s of mods shipped (and no complaints even with turnaround times being up to 3 months this year with the crazy demand since Elvira).

Pinsiders are generally awesome.

He's posted in the GnR threads, so in the event I do make any mods for it (game doesn't look to need any), I'll have to remember to deny any orders from him--that's a headache I'd prefer to avoid.

Got my game on Tuesday. Happy to report that there's zero pooling issues. Dimples seen in the pic with the chandelier reflection are invisible in person from player perspective (and not different than I've experienced with other NIB games).

Also digging the wood used, with darker bands showing in the shooter lane and upper playfield (prettier in person).

Unfortunate to find this on my LE. Added a larger washer to cover the damage (okay in that spot, but would be unacceptable as a fix in most other spots).

The sling areas with plastic washers are 100%, but nearly every place a metal washer is used has some kind of wrinkling if closely inspected (presumably over-torqued posts).

Noticed the ball getting stuck bottom of bumpers/jets but there is a rubber on it. Never had this issue on location. Wondering if anyone had to make adjustments for this.

I had the issue of the ball resting at the right of the bottom pop, and my fix was to adjust the switch gap on that pop (to be more sensitive) and upped the power on just that one by a little bit.

No issues since.

It's noticeable, but no magic moment IMO (No Sparky, JP Dino, Gappa, etc. level integration). Some games are certainly a must have on the shaker, but if it were between $150 on a shaker and $150 on a subwoofer, I'd go with the sub on GnR.
