Quoted from PappyBoyington:

Just got my game today after waiting 7 months. Mine is a May build. Looks like there are washers already installed. Don't see any playfield damage yet. What areas should I keep an eye on?

Every post with a metal washer under it is a good start.

Quoted from fooflighter:

I ironed all my pooling prior to putting down clear PETG. I haven't touched them since I put them down (something about not fixing what's not broken) but they look the same from above coming up on 1000 plays since installing them. No new damage, no edge pooling, no pressure squeezing into the playfield...they look perfect. Even the PETG's that i scored or cut to fit haven't fractured, cracked or anything. Love that material.
My son came home from college for the past week and we've had a blast playing it. He really loved it and thought it looked amazing. I showed him my fixes and he thought it came from the factory that way. I don't even see them anymore to be honest. I know it sucks but for those who already have the game or are getting it who either have issues or are worried...but you can get after it the minute you notice some shiny pooling if you choose to wait and see if your's is affected...at this point you can arrest further issue by being immediately proactive.
These were both just taken with 1000 plays since install...as well as the rest of the playfield

I did the same to my game. I lifted the washers to make sure there was no new damage after 400 plays and there was no new marks at all. I too don't even notice the washers.

My original damage was caused by the posts with little metal washers being way overtightened. Some of the washers were so bent I had to just throw the in the bin. I have no damage anywhere where there was not a metal washer under a post. Hope JJP are reading.

Quoted from atg1469:

Iā€™m still not understanding this suggested fix. Hereā€™s a picture of the ball resting but the gate isnā€™t interfering with the ball in any way. What I think is happening is the ball is running up the ramp, hitting the back target above the drumsticks, and every so often finds itself stuck in the crevice between. So again Iā€™m just not seeing how adjusting the gate is going to make a difference. I appreciate the help tho and look forward to being proven an idiot once again!
[quoted image]

I had the same issue with mine, solution was to take out the two screws at the bottom of the ramp, the one on the top left of the ramp and realign the ramp closer to the sticks. I found that the more you tighten the screws in the top left and bottom right of the ramp the further away from the sticks the ramp goes and creates the gap for the ball to get stuck. Adjusting the gate on mine had no effect, balls still got stuck, so I would recommend you leave it where it is.

Have an issue with my left flipper. It seems to have ceased up and won't move by hand. Looks like its killed itself. The coilstop was very loose too. All the coils at the bottom of the playfield have stopped working also (right flipper, kickout etc). What do I need to replace and should I be concerned that the other coils aren't working? The game only has 10 games on it when this happened.

So I have replaced the coil and fuse but as soon as turn on the game and close the coin door the flipper coil immediately fires and doesn't stop. Obviously this is how the original coil burnt out. Any ideas on what steps I should take next to diagnose or fix this issue?

Quoted from PinMonk:

Sounds like you blew the transistor. Do you have a multimeter and soldering iron?
The two IRL540 transistors are Q317 and Q318 on the large I/O board below the silver computer box behind the backglass.

I have a soldering iron, but not a multimeter. Where is the best place to get the transistors?

Quoted from pinballaddicted:

I am assuming you have checked the flipper switch to make sure it is not stuck on.
Talk to Paul. It sounds like you may have blown a transistor on the driver board for the left flipper.
Good luck.

Paul is useless mate, his after sales support is none existent. Apparently you have to keep your JJP pinball forever else he cracks the shits and doesn't want to deal with you ever again.

Quoted from PinMonk:

Pinball parts has them, but they seem super-expensive:
https://www.pinballspareparts.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=IRL540
Element14 doesn't have the right package version on stock. Jaycar has the wrong kind (IRF540).
Looks like RS has them for about $3.50AU each (double check the specs on this one):
https://au.rs-online.com/web/p/mosfets/1808780
The IRL540 is a common variety MOSFET, so any electronics store should have them.
Even if you get a cheap $30 or $40 multimeter, it will be important to have on hand. Without it you'll have no way to know which of the two transistors is the one that blew (locked on, I assume).

Awesome, will get some ordered and get some practice soldering thanks for your help!!
