Quoted from bigd1979:

Still holding out hope that I get mine in next few weeks... I noticed many distros getting multiple orders allready but mine hasn't even gotten one yet. So hopefully they get a few here soon so I can have mine. Guess will see..so happy for everyone that got theirs so far . Merry Christmas

Which distributor? I’m with Coin Taker. Last update was February delivery.

Was a KOHL’s today for an Amazon return and saw this. I think it’s a sign my LE is on the line! Lol.

Quoted from c818919taylor:

Last I checked Cliffy was waiting on someone to take measurements to build a set.

Cliff told me they were now in production. I think he is just swamped keeping up with all the new games.

Quoted from Leo13:

As I read before, people make mistake about Cliffy's carbon protectors: they are NOT intended to be used alone !!! Fix your pooling, install the carbon ring (stick it to the playfield so it won't move) then re-install the post with its washer. That way, the washer could slide and move on the carbon protector and NOT tearing the clear/art.
More photos here : http://www.passionforpinball.com/wip.htm[quoted image]

Can you make a recommendation on how many of Cliff’s small and large carbon rings a GNR LE will need to protect the game? Thanks.

#10578 2 years ago
Quoted from Leo13:

Sorry I cannot recommend anything as I am "simply" a game owner like you, so I have no legitimacy to tell you precisely what to do, only sharing my own experience and advices from professionals.
Large carbon protectors are used with star post and other large ones, where 3/4 ID are used with small post WITH their washers.
Please consult http://www.passionforpinball.com/wip.htm for more details

Actually, Cliff said to check Pinside for a recommendation on how many washers and size to buy for the LE. I guess I’ll wing it. I was only looking for a ball park. I don’t have my game yet, but want to be prepared for when it eventually arrives. But thanks anyway.

Quoted from Leo13:

I purchased a set of 10 small washers, not installed them yet as I'm waiting for JJP regarding the tickets I have opened. I dont want to make any intervention before their inputs.

Ok, much appreciated. I ordered large and small. And surprise, surprise I got my invoice for my LE today. Game ships in two weeks.

#10626 2 years ago
Quoted from Vespula:

Order date? Distro or JjP direct?

Coin Taker. Invoice said the game will ship in approximately two weeks. I ordered first day. Long wait but I waited longer for my ACNC.

The topper just went on line at CoinTaker about five minutes ago. The site says an August delivery, but knowing JJP I'd guess later in the Fall. https://cointaker.com/products/jersey-jack-guns-n-roses-pinball-topper-not-shipping-until-august

My LE arrived today bright and early from Coin Taker. Launch day order. If I had to nit pick there is a small chip in shooter lane but Cliffy’s shooter lane protector will cover it up. Played fine out of the box and later today or this weekend I’ll install the Cliffy kit. Still waiting on his washers. I don’t plan to play it much until then. No pooling and hopefully it will stay that way when I get the washers and apply some other creative fixes so well documented on this page. June build. Time for a deep dive on the rules.

Quoted from Cayenne:

I joined the club with my NIB GnR LE.
After one day playing I have an error - Matrixed Switche #35 "Lockup enter" (stuck open).
The switch&wires beside AXL looks okay; any ideas how to fix/identify the problem? (someone mentioned the foam which damaged the wires, but it looks good for me). Is this switch relevant, as the Guitar Lock works without problems?
[quoted image] [quoted image]

I received my game a few days ago and got that error after putting on the scoop Cliffy. Turns out I crimped the wire when I was putting the Axl mold back onto the upper pf. I un crimped it and it’s working fine now.

Here are a few photos of the topper. It took me a few tries to get it right (Ok…my wife figured it out!) but here you can see what I hope are the correct placements of all the parts. I hope this helps. The photos with the instructions were really small and some just didn’t help. I cable tied/secured the power cable once I got it in the back box. The sticky strip for the LEDs was crap. I ended up using double sided Gorilla Glue tape to secure it to the bottom of the bracket.

Note/update: I received this comment (below) that my light strip is incorrect. “ This is wrong.
You should have put the led strip at the back of the bracket en then mount the topper on top of the led strip…
So the light shines directly in from underneath the acrylic.”
