In the UK, McDonalds closed down across the country yesterday. In the final few hours of opening, the queues at our local drive-thru backed up through the town so far that the police were out controlling the traffic. First world problems....
UK in lockdown now. No gatherings of more than 2 people unless from the same household. In the local park group of 8 teenagers sitting together smoking and chatting. When asked by someone to disperse, just got a mouthful of abuse and "well, we haven't got it so it doesn't matter". I suspect their parents don't have a clue either, sadly...

Our local stores here in the UK have started limiting the numbers of people inside. Once it reaches the limit (which is quite low), it's one person out, one person in. Means you get the shop done quite quickly, but it can take a while to get in as you have to queue outside for a while (not standing too close to anyone). Seems to be a reasonable system.
In the UK we finally get a couple of hot days (well hot for us, it's in the mid 80s Fahrenheit) and the beaches go nuts.
