Quoted from dirkdiggler:

Serious question for you guys. Would you go see a doctor or risk a hospital visit right now? I'm pretty sure I need to see a doctor but not even sure there's physicians servicing my area and would have to go to a ER at a local hospital most likely.

Do the teleconference with your doctor at home with your computer . He can prescribe you meds and do a drive threw in the pharmacy . No exposer

This would not surprise me one bit and also explain why the cases in Russia are so low

Not sure how much merrit to this story or just bull shit but a fellow on Ag Talk forum says he was in NYC for 10 days in Sept then got covid shortly there after . Says had a positive antibody test . Also said the CDC shut down the Fort Dietrick viral lab in Sept of last year after some violations.

Sad news for me as my 86 yr old mother got covid 2 weeks ago and has passed away 2 days ago . She was being cared for by my sister in CA who has also contracted covid but seems to be doing ok she's 63.She was in assisted living and spent 2 weeks in hospital ,got dehydrated with low o2 then kidneys failed and just gave up in the end . Steroids plus antibiotics o2 and iv's was not enough to keep her going.
Been reading about some treatments of IVERMECTIN for prevention and paitient recovery with good results in other counties but not much of it being used in the USA. Anybody tried it or have any info would be appreciated. Losing a elderly family member in poor health is to expected but any cases of the younger ones will not be easy to take . Stay Safe Plowpusher

Any longhaulers should give this a watch and get some ivermectin as it show 85 % improvement

Quoted from PantherCityPins:

I had a patient ask me about Ivermectin last week. He said he heard on Facebook it "wiped out COVID 100%".
I told him essentially what Oaken said above, it needs further study. We don't have enough information to determine if it is an possible drug in the arsenal to fight COVID. I did tell him that I have seen no study that shows it works "100%" and to take what he reads on social media with a grain of salt.

It's doubtful we get clinic trials done to repurpose this off patent drug as it's so cheap to use . Just lots of real world user's who have had great results to back it up . Very safe as well . I know if i get covid i will use it as there is no real risk to give it a try .

Quoted from Utesichiban:

What are your thoughts on melatonin, quecertin, famotidine, etc for prophylaxis or to reduce mild symptomatic disease? I’ve read they are all being studied. How about statins and finasteride? Any benefit to those?
I’ve read about research done to repurpose existing drugs and supplements against COVID and all of these made the possibilities list.

Quoted from PantherCityPins:

The Front Line COVID Critical Care Alliance is a group of physicians who have been pushing various cures and protocols for COVID without controlled clinical trial evidence. While I think their intentions are good, their methods have been questioned by many in the medical field and they have yet to publish or show any data that supports what they recommend.
I'm not anti-Ivermectin, but if you say it has been "tested" in South America with placebo trials I'd simply like to see that study. I've looked and can't find one myself.

This is the problem we need the CDC and WHO to conduct some clinical trials to see if this promising drug has merit so the medical field can use it with confidence and establish use rates . As of now only some random controlled studies for the use on covid so its hard for ivermectin to be prescribed correctly . Being off patent and so cheap no pharma is going pay for a study.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Throw it on the COVID snake oil scrap heap.

Evan if it dont work for covid at least it will kill your horses worms and only $3.49 at your local tractor supply store with lots of good rewiews
