Lots of comparisons of the US to countries overseas, but not so many to their nearest neighbour....
As a Canadian I hope that we're not just lagging in the timeline, but numbers have been holding steady for some time now... With ~9x the population of Canada, the US has ~20x the cases and 30x the deaths.
Nothing empirical, but my sense is that Canada had far less debate about the benefits of "stay at home", proportionately more testing early, and far less population density; all (hopefully) working in our favour.
Hoping every country can keep a lid on things until a vaccine arrives.
