My wife and I tested positive this week. The first 24 hours were a bit rough but feeling much better. I started feeling like crap on Monday night. Today I mowed the lawn. Still a little achy and woozy sometimes but comes and goes.

Quoted from Daditude:But is he using the leaf blower early in the morning??
Going to sleep in a bit but leaf blower tomorrow.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:I see VERY few maskless faces or nose-maskers here in this photo I took in Times Square on Saturday. Thousands of people and almost all of them are wearing masks, and doing it properly.
When you give people actual information based on fact - not happy talk based on lies - and provide strong leadership, people are bound to “behave” better and that’s what you see here.
Compare it to other rallies where people are basically encouraged NOT to wear masks, and it’s basically night and day. Like I said, some of us are learning to live it with it, rather than ignore it and pretend It doesn’t exist. I’m happy with the balance I’ve found, and I’m glad my state and local leaders have been up front with us about everything through this entire thing, so we are able to make educated decisions.
I love this picture! Shows nothing political just lots of happy, happy people, as the sun sets and a new dawn approaches!

My family always properly wears a mask when we leave the house. Social distance, wash hands, yadda yadda. We have Covid right now. Not sure there is a simple solution. The upside is none of us seem to have suffered the worst symptoms.
So I have been through this thing and cleared by public health nurse. She told me once you have beaten Covid the antibodies can last up to two months. That's what they speculate anyway? So if that's true can a vaccine be effective for a period longer than that? If so how does that work?
Quoted from o-din:Let me just say I am glad you made it through it. I was going to message you and see how you were doing.
Thanks man. Of course the experience seems to be so different for everyone. That's the scary part of this. For me personally, I have definitely felt worse before with the flu or even a hangover. That said the fatigue really kicked my ass. Never had anything linger like this before. I kept expecting to feel better after a good nights sleep but it never happened. 10 days of feeling achy and rundown really takes a toll on you mentally.
My whole family had it so it's Thanksgiving as usual for us. There is an uspide to getting it I guess? Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday. It's like Christmas without the presents.
My wife and I wear a mask anytime we go in somewhere outside of the house. At work we wear a mask into the building and get temp checked at the door. My area is fairly isolated. We have about 10 people in my office but we are all spread out so we don't wear masks once in the office.
In November I got Covid. No one else in my office area did. We walk past each other on occasion and share a bathroom.
Everyone in my family got it it. Including my adult daughters who regularly visit and the grandkids. My wife and I had a few rough days but the kids all were mild to no symptoms at all.
Not sure if that helps your argument. I just wanted to share my situation. I wear a mask everywhere but at home and once inside the office. The big difference between my co-workers and my family seems to be that we don't hug and kiss our co-workers.
Quoted from seeburg220:I'm on Day 18 post Covid test positive, about 28 days since I came down with symptoms. Today has been rough. Sore as heck. About every other day or 3rd day, I feel fine. Not today. Guess I'm a long hauler. 2020 go away !
Mine lasted about 10 days. But yes it is a rollercoaster. On the third day in I felt pretty good. Thought I had it licked and mowed the lawn. The next day felt a little tired but raked some leaves. Many of the days after I mostly just sat and watched TV without much ambition or energy. About the 8th day I was totally wiped out and slept most of the day. You keep thinking with some rest tomorrow this will be over but it lingers on for what feels like forever. Then all of sudden it you feel pretty good again for multiple days and know it's behind you.
