TwitterBob (as I call him, located here https://twitter.com/isfbob) added a pretty interesting chart related to deaths that identifies a (the?) peak. He publishes daily around 11:00 PM Eastern. A couple days ago he broke out the US into a NY line and a separate 'Rest of US' line on his worldwide chart:

Apparently only NY and WA can claim to be beyond a peak.
