Quoted from Jaybird815:

Another project I didn’t need[quoted image]

I swear there is an infinte supply of Mr. & Mrs. Pacman and Baby Pac project machines out there.
Every time someone finished one, another rough project appears magically.

I would love a Project. I am really really bored.
Could have bought a Bally Wizard a Month ago, junk sitting in a Garage without play field glass covered in dust, grieving I didn't.
Congrats!

Another project I didn’t need.
A one on a million shot. Cutting the grass today and lawnmower kicked a stone that hit the edge of the window.[quoted image]

awww jeez what crummy luck. When I first saw the photo I assumed it was a break-in.

My lawn looks good though.

Mine does too. Rebuilt the deck on a Husqvarna I bought new from Lowes in 2006. Carb clean, gas tank flush, voltage regulator, new AG tires. It came out right, what a joy!
Tomorrow, the Tiller. New Tines, Harbor Freight clone moter, new AG tires with tubes. Looking forward to running the tiller.
After that, a Yamaha pressure washer, won't start. Gummed up Carb, need to fog the pump. Gonna use it and sell it.
Finally, an Allis Chalmers B-110 garden tractor (1968). Idler pulley, welch plug and drive belt. Deck needs center drive pulley lower bearing.

Have you been to colorado lately? Its like a coors light party ball there everyday! Lol

I have some family that lives up there. Now...i would think with all the great craft breweries they have (some of the very best in the USA, btw) they would drink crafts. Nope.

I will never forget when i went to a massive party up there a couple of years ago. I felt the pressure to bring some great suds, so i got tons of beer from local breweries and even found out what the highest rated beers in the country were and ordered them beforehand. You would think that the fact i brought copious amounts of beer would get everyone excited...instead, i had no fewer than 4 people ask me why i didn't bring coors light

I have actually been to the Coors plant in Golden about 4 times. Last time was about 15 years ago or so. I know I will catch a lot of crap, but I am a Coors guy, like Coors original, Coors Light enjoy a Killian's Red every now and again and kind of miss their Winter-fest beer they put out around Christmas.

I don't have any problems with coors light, it just caught me by surprise. I thought the first 2 were joking. By the third...i asked my wife, " are these people serious?" By the time the 4th person said it, i thought * you gotta be #$!&\*× kidding me!

A lot of pockets of civil disobedience in our country regarding the stay at home order. Most likely more to come. I'd be really interested in hearing from our pinball friends in other countries if they're seeing the same thing.

We had some people complaining they can't play golf or go fishing but they did a politely .

Fun times.

Since we’re all at home on lockdown, we’ve been doing group chats on Friday and Saturday nights with out friends. We drink, hang out, shoot the shit. Well it turns out that one friend has installed a smart home thermostat and colour changing lightbulbs. At random times someone in the chat would loudly say “ok google, turn the lights blue.” And sure enough kris’ house would change colours through the video chat. we kept messing with him all night. “Ok google, set the temperature to 40 degrees”. Ok google...... I wonder if he regrets the purchase.

I’m convinced the governor is trying to kill my parents in Florida. He’s a monster.

Would you prefer the monster meth head Ron DeSantis defeated? Cause he’s currently in a rehab and wouldn’t be any good fighting the spread of the virus right now.
My business partner fled Boston (the next virus hotspot) to live at his mom’s condo in Florida.
Maybe you & I should do the same.

Your politicians are a lot more exciting than ours.

#11931 3 years ago

COVID has caused oil supply to outpace demand to the point they can't even store it anymore. The price of oil crashed a third overnight to about $11 a barrel. Oil hasn't been that cheap (with rare exceptions) since the Soviets were a thing. Market is going to be interesting today.

Right now would be a great time for pinball companies to start caring about their customers (cough cough Stern and JJP) and to start standing behind their products better. Stern has lost location sales, customers sales who have lost their jobs, customer sales who have jobs but dont want to turn loose of their money because of the economy, and they still have those lost sales of customers that they have screwed by selling them bad playfields and not making things right with them by sending them a new populated playfield like they deserve.

I would love to buy a NIB Elvira 3 and a JP2 but I'm still sitting here waiting on answers about my two bad playfields that I turned in claims on over a year ago. Karma is a bitch isn't it Stern? I am also not the only loyal customer that will no longer buy their games without some kind of a quality guarantee. I know many people who have money and they want to buy a new game but they are afraid of getting a bad playfield and getting screwed.

Just a little something for you pinball companies and distributors to think about who didnt need us loyal customers a few months ago but need us now.

Anthony Weiner ran to be mayor of New York City but was convicted of sexting a minor & is now a registered sex offender He just got out of jail Feb 18th.
He could of been heading up virus containment right now in NYC...

Fascinating...

Ok.
I’m running out of projects to do and good beer here at the house.
Spent Sunday tiling the damn backsplash in the pantry and drinking Budweiser “heavy”.
Hadn’t had one since my teens. Surprisingly...it tasted great compared to the tile wet-saw spray
