No doubt. You are in a hot zone.
Are you doing okay? How about your family and friends?

Quoted from o-din:I'd like to say after weeks of rain, the sun beating on my head this morning feels good.
I was outside talking with a neighbor for about 20 minutes and the sun felt good.

I have one pinball friend who just got out of the hospital, he lives in jersey. Was in terrible shape and on a ventilator but he recovered we are thrilled.
Another highly ranked competitive pinball buddy who works at Trader Joe’s is very sick and tested + (his wife in the same boat) but he hasn’t had to go to the hospital.
Both those guys are my age
One more pinball buddy who also works at Trader Joe’s has it but had mild symptoms. He’s young.
Beyond that nobody I directly know, except
For lots of people who “think I had it in February” but I think there a lot of confirmation bias going on. Fortunately all family including parents in Florida seem to be doing fine / avoiding virus.
My aunt was in hospital with a heart issue but is doing better and back home thank goodness
Quoted from Russell:The moderators asked us to move anything remotely COVID related here. So I'm reposting here. I've already heard a couple of decent suggestions. Notably, turn off every other machine, and alternate which games are turned on. I thought that was pretty creative. Anyway, here was my original post:
I'm starting to ponder what changes COVID may bring to location pinball.
At least at first, I would imagine that bars and restaurants will be asked to facilitate the 6 feet distance between patrons. That means spacing my location games much more widely than normal. To get 6 feet between players, it seems that would decrease the number of games in a row dramatically. (Down to 1/3-1/2 of the usual number?)
I could also imagine putting sanitizer in the Pingulps rather than reserving that for drinks. Or a pingulp on each side? One for sanitizer, one for drinks?
Frequent cleaning? Perhaps need to leave cleaning materials available for patrons to clean the games themselves if they want?
What other ideas can you think of to optimize location pinball in the near future?
I have no doubt that this will have long lasting repercussions. I think most places will be more inclined to clean more frequently and have more sanitizers available.
As far as Machine distances, that is a highly likely as well.
Ultimately, we are a very social species. It would be impossible to shut down all contact to zero. It comes down to the individual to be careful long term. Hand washing, masks, gloves, etc are paramount.

It's feeling a little better now that I have some coffee in me.
I got drunk with some good ole boy from Texas last night.
Quoted from Daditude:Do you have a pic or link?
Is it the one in the clear jar with the green lid?
The one with the gold label. Clear is good too. I usually keep both around depending on what I’m in the mood for.
Oddly enough I don't know anybody in NJ that has/had it. But I know a number of people in Southern VT that have it, or live elsewhere and most likely caught it up there.
Got some good news that one friend of a friend finally got off a vent after over 3 weeks.

I pulled all the plugs in the garage last night except the heater. Nice and toasty in there right now.

You know that Tabasco sauce is made in used Jack Daniels barrels.
Tabasco is one of the largest buyers of their barrels when they are finished with them. They are then used to make hot sauce.
There’s a very good documentary on Tabasco. It’s a company that has been around since the Civil War.
When they were burning all the crops under the “scorched earth” policy, the pepper fields were not set ablaze and Tabasco came out of post Civil War America as a thriving company.
