Just wanted to say it was great catching up with a bad ass group of pinheads! My bro’s and Mama’s from SPL are simply the best.
    (Tom’s still the man)
Missed seeing a few old timers.
    Kerry_Richard and NorCalRealtor
I thought the games of the show were Goin Nuts, Pistol Poker and Special Forces.
Big shot out to the Sponsors, (Pinball Pirate and crew also Marcos band of pinheads) The Board and the Vendors. You talk about a mental health break. Can’t wait for next year. Thank you all.
    Harley D.

Nice to meet you this afternoon! I finally got a chance to play Goin Nuts this afternoon before it departed the venue and DAMN what a neat game!

I just wanted to thank everyone who clearly busted their butts to make this such a great show! I played in my first tournament and although I’m the single worst player in North America it was a blast. Playing with Stern insider and now in a tournament has really elevated the fun factor! I would like to volunteer next year as well.

I look forward to next year and hopefully soon finding some people to play with before then. Love the tournaments and found that two friends that came with me (ultra noobs) would also like to start tournament play. The truth is we are all beyond terrible players.

    Perhaps a 1st timers tournament?

This illustrates my mentality about that, in my case.

I know my family had a blast. Super tired, lol. On our way back shortly for the last load. Thanks for everyone who stopped to say hi in our corner universe! Brought 10 game and leaving with 11... Took home an unexpected Demolition Man. Wish i would have brought back that Pistol Poker and Torpedo Alley. See you all in October and again next year!

What an incredible show! This was my first time at GSPF and I was totally blown away! It was so nice to connect with people I'd only met online, and play some rad pinball. Huge thank you and congrats to all the organizers, staff, volunteers, and people who brought games for constructing the best weekend I've had in a LOOOOOOONG time!

Not to worry Tony... I got the goods from the late night camp action...
Plus i snaked a game that's gonna get its own thread soon. It saw a lot of action in camp.
Stall ball tourney went until 2:30 Friday. Linked Metallicas comp went until like 3:30am Saturday.

There was a goddamn inflatable pyramid with a TMNT inside.
    Pics of the mayhem soon.

Harley... Thanks for thinking of us.

I jammed out to the show for 1 hour Friday early afternoon. I saw a handful of buddies and played about 8 games.

Unfortunately for me and the show... I had to work all weekend, so I couldn't bring any games and participate in all the FUN

It was so nice to see the show back up and running.

Thanks for all who did work it and participate in bringing their games and their time & effort.

Fantastic show. This show is all about the love of pinball.

It’s a masterpiece in the works, as in I expect it will get even better. I am certain if it.

The summer has been kicked off in my world.

The more I pay attention the more I'm realizing the vast distances that some people traveled to come to the show. Excluding all over California I know of Oregon, Nevada, Idaho and Wyoming. Now if that isn't for the love of the game then I don't know what is!

My brother and I went on Saturday and it was a great show! So grateful to be only a 3hr drive away.

Loved all the space and not being jammed in so close to others. Love the venue, easy parking, everyone was nice and polite, pretty easy going vibe. All the latest games I haven't been able to play was fantastic.

It was funny walking into the entrance to pay and seeing just the EMs and not much else with the door closed to what was the main room, I was thinking WTF. And then they said there were three rooms. Cool, went to the second room and had more games, but none of the latest and oddly lined up along the walls with a huge empty area in the middle. Was still wondering if maybe they didn't get enough support. Someone clarified the reason for the wall placement was power related, so that makes sense now. So, on to room number three and, ding, ding ding, the awesomeness revealed itself!

Kudos to the vendors that brought the latest games. Without them it would not have been as awesome for sure. Marco puts on a great booth area with numerous games to play. Even built a backdrop for Godzilla to look like tall buildings with simulated flames. I noticed they were made from a stack of pallets with a Stern pinball box on top with a building graphic. Nice touch!

Also, noticed that having the Stern Insider connectivity available adds one more thing for vendors to deal with to connect them to routers and such. Nice extra effort that wasn't really essential.

One other small but nice touch was at closing time. They went around about 10 minutes before and told everyone. But, instead of just shutting off the power at the stroke of midnight mid-game, they just turned them off when they weren't being played and let people finish their game. Seemed like most people respected it and just finished and left as expected. There was even a little girl at the Marco games turning them off and she stood by us as we were finishing up so she could do her official duty. She was so cute doing that.

Also, wanted to mention that the games were running great and when one would go down it wasn't long before the crew were on it and getting it back up again. Saw it several times.

Great job and many thanks to everyone that does all the hard work so we have a great show to go to! Next year can't get here soon enough.

It was bittersweet to have the power shut off at 5. On the one hand, goodbye GSPF.
On the other hand, I was freaking exhausted and getting my games loaded up so I could crash at home was definitely a burning desire at that point.

I always have a GSPF "hangover" for like 3 days. I still got 2 machines sitting out on the patio waiting for me to work up enough energy to drag them up the ramps into the house. Hadda take yesterday off just to unload and return the trailer and nap.
    SOOOOOO worth it.

I took half a day off yesterday and managed to set up two machines and just finished setting Space Shuttle back up with 7 more to go and my feet are still barking, I think I’ll get the lot set back up by this weekend. I told you I’d send a picture of SS with the new backglass I got from you and it looks great! Thanks once again, pal!

Man, I completely forgot about the barbecue Saturday! I did manage to get there for a couple brats after most everybody was gone, but I'm so sad that I missed out on the the group hang. It's always such a nice break in the day and a great way to catch up with folks.

I think we were all a bit out of sorts all weekend because it's been so long since we've done this show thing. I really believe after not doing it for two years, this show went extremely well!

Kudos to the NCPA and all the volunteers and those who brought their incredible games. So crazy to see and play so many extremely rare and prototype games there for all to play! Loved it all.

Great work on dealing with the curveball of the power issue with the main floor space(the gym) and feeding games over to the third hall. It definitely wasn't the "leftovers" room, either. I had two games in there and my TZ had 534 plays with my TAF getting 535 plays. That's more plays than that previously mentioned GZ Pro! That tells me that that room had plenty of foot traffic and plenty of people playing those games in there.

Here's to next year and an even better show!

It was my pleasure and I am glad you enjoyed it! To be honest I am surprised how much attention it got during the show, definitely one you don’t see every day. If you run into issues resurrecting yours feel free to drop me a message or post in the 6803 system group and post lots of pictures of your process! ~cheers

The highlight of the show after midnight on Saturday night was Tiltallica! I got some video of the awesome experience. What a blast and hope it comes back next year. Props to Shannon and Dan for getting the games linked up.

Thanks to all the show organizers, volunteers, and amazing people I met. What a fantastic show and already counting the days for 2023.

Thanks to the Lodi crew, people that brought their games, exhibitors and volunteers for another great event and the best Pinball Show Black Light T-Shirt Ever! You have to see this in person; these pictures just don't do it justice.
If there are any left I'd like to get another one.
