Quoted from bicyclenut:I just saw one of these for sale up North on Facebook Market place...Good luck with your restore
This is the one you saw. I got a Seeburg 1962/1963 LPC-1 juke as well! I started a thread here on pin side to document the restoration of this particular Pac Man machine.
Quoted from bicyclenut:Awesome! BTW, how did the jukebox you picked up at GSPF this year turn out?
I got it working after about 30 minutes of troubleshooting and spent another couple of hours fine-tuning it and it works like a champ now! I plan to do a complete overhaul on it this winter.
Quoted from bicyclenut:WOW! nice job
Thank you! My new set of targets just arrived today as well!
Quoted from fireball2:So I have 200 days to get this going![quoted image]
Very nice! I love to bring my space shuttle but I just don’t have the room. I also haven’t seen a real good quality Space Shuttle at the show yet, looks like you will have that covered!
Quoted from Cheddar:Would love to see that machine at the show. I'd be even more excited if it was for sale
Not this one I’m having too much fun playing it! I hope it sees a lot of play if I can find a way to transport it down to the show and I’m sure there’s a few people who wouldn’t mind seeing this very early sample machine in person.
Quoted from mrgone:134 days until Showtime!
A lot of pinball projects can find their way into our hands in that time! This show is going to be great!
Quoted from fireball2:I also have a CPR Space Shuttle backglass for sale that I could bring to the show.
100 days is gonna go like that, so git to fixing and prepping...
Party on.
What price are you looking at for the SS backglass?
Quoted from fireball2:Howzaboot 175? Never been in a game. The BG that came with my new project game is perf, so I don't need this one.
I assume the glass, paint and mirroring is like new yes? If so then you got yourself a deal and I can pick it up at the show! I acquired my SS many years ago with a shattered BG, I contacted Ed Cheung ( http://www.edcheung.com/album/album06/Pinball/ss_backglass.htm ) and he was kind enough to sell me a translite which is top notch but it of course lacks the mirroring, I even made a custom mask layer for the info at the bottom of the translite but still I've been hunting for a quality mirrored BG since then.
Quoted from fireball2:It was in the 340-360ish range both years as I recall. There will prolly be another 10 in the campground by the time we're done here...
Lets hope for 380-400 this year! I'm planning on bringing 2 additional machines for a total of 5 this year if the weather cooperates!
Quoted from Cheddar:I just sent Izzy the price list
If anyone wants to see show pricing let me know and I'll pm it to them
Interested
Quoted from fireball2:And if my Space Shuttle ain't sold by then, it'll be there too looking for a buyer. Mebbe Kevin's Globetrotters, unless we need one for the show.
I hope you get a buyer for your Space Shuttle however my own selfishness hopes that doesn't happen till the show. I don't have room to bring mine and I have yet to see a really good specimen make it to the show!
Just throwing this out there, I have Fire and Grand Lizard on my radar so if anybody has one or the other fully intact in moderate to great shape that hasn't already been shopped and are planning to sell at this years show please let me know!
Seeing the hand sanitizers all over the show floor over the past couple years was very nice to see and well utilized! Back in the Dixon days I returned home with a bug two years in a row, Lodi so far has been cold and flu free for me. I certainly hope this threat doesn't hamper sign ups or attendance, I've really been looking forward to this show!
Quoted from mrgone:Yup. I heard today that the banks are in short supply. I’ve been thinking about doing just that since I heard this.
Do it, I just broke the 20 gallon platelet milestone last weekend!
Quoted from jeffro01:Is ColorDMD ever a vendor at the show? Just asking to possibly avoid shipping on something so I can pick it up in person...
Jeff
Last year they ran a promotion and shipped preset displays to the show at a discount as long as you displayed your upgraded machine in their designated area with a ColorDMD sign on the game. It was worth the $50 discount for sure, maybe they will run the promo again this year.
Quoted from mrgone:And get ready for The 2021 Golden State Pinball Festival!!!!!!!! We are going to blow the roof off of Lodi!!!!!
I committed 5 machines for this years show but I now have 14 months to find a way to bring 6 or 7 for 2021. We WILL make up for this years loss. I’m just sorry I have to wait another year to see my pinball brethren!
It would be great to see some kind of gathering for local area pinheads between now and next year. If anything materializes please update the thread accordingly!
Quoted from fireball2:Fuck all the ducks in the entire universe!
I sent you a PM in regards to the Space Shuttle backglass I was going to buy from you at the show. I am pretty bummed I won’t get a chance to see your restored Space Shuttle machine this year.
Quoted from IdahoRealtor:I know a potent rum punch recipe that's very tasty. Will aim to bring enough for at least 30.
I say we have a party at your place since you offered up the punch, I hereby reserve my spot to pass out on the floor!
Quoted from jbovenzi:...was supposed to be this weekend...
In honor of the show I am scheduled to pick up another project machine which I plan to add to the 6 that were planned to be at this years show but will now be committed to the 2021 show. Next year is going to be an epic show!
