    Quoted from Buzz:

Are the ones with white cards for sale or just informational? Looks so great one year I'm going to get things to work out so I can go.

They are mainly for key control for the techs. Each white card has a key number on it, and it also lists if the machine is for sale.

For anyone who will be driving 580 west to get home tonight check the road work schedule ahead of time or find another route.
Last night they had only one lane open for a few miles (it was 10 pm) and traffic was at stand still for almost an hour for me

    #766 4 years ago

After teching for several hours yesterday I ended up having multiple reoccurring pinball related problem solving dreams all related to several machines I worked on yesterday, does this mean I have a pinball problem? It’s day two let’s do this!

    #767 4 years ago

Saturday morning, the sun is shining and the weather guessers are saying only a 50% chance of rain by Noon. Keep your fingers crossed.
I don't know if Sparky still needs pop-ups for his BBQ but I have one and a couple of tarps just in case.
Edit: How can two different stations have two wildly different 4 hour forecasts? One says 50% another is saying 90%. Of course that is why I call them weather guessers.

I have about eight tarps that I brought down for my machines and they are all available if you need them.

Went out to dinner and found this diner called Richmaid just 1/2 mile south on Cherokee. (10 minute walk) They have Chicken and waffles. And the chicken is BROASTED! Not sure what that means but it sounds healthy so I ordered a chocolate milkshake with it, ya know, for a balanced diet thing. AND when we were done we got PUDDING!! TAPIOCA PUDDING!! Lodi ROCKS!!

Well I was hoping to bring that Fish Tales home today (Congrats to the winner!) but karma decided I needed another restoration project instead which is not exactly what the wife was expecting. Yep, I (The sucker) snagged that free AMI jukebox left out in the swap meet area and after getting it safely into my shop I already got the selection mech to pull up stored memory off the memory pin disc. If anybody is AMI savvy please drop me a PM as I may need to bounce some juke specific questions off somebody in the know in the event I run into a jam. Many thanks to the gentleman who let me use his left gate to get the beast loaded in my truck bed. Great show so far, 1 more day left!

My favorite EM pin at the show, was this WMS Reserve, fairly rare as i have only seen in person once before.
    Great playing and fun pin.
Best solid state pin was Scorbit's BLY Future Spa, a wonderful restoration, sadly forgot to take pics of it.

Hats off to the techs. And to the new ticketing system for repairs. Super quick and easy reporting problems with the QR codes on each game.

100% agree. I didn’t know about this until I was at the show and it needs to be hyped more. So easy to use.

    #795 4 years ago

Pin conclusions after playing them at the show (in no particular order):
    Black Knight Premium > Pro
    Wonka is indeed Meh
    Big Lebowski rocks so hard
Oktoberfest is better hands-on, but still feels (and looks) very beta
New WoZ YBR with the "more reliable" castle door mech and missing monkey had a broken castle door. <- Funny
Bride of Pinbot 2.0 is not great
Alice Cooper Nightmare Castle is surprisingly the first Spooky I would even consider owning. Very fun.
Beatles ain't worth $8k. I was surprised the B/W historical clips were just stills when I know the video exists of those events.
Lower Playfield on Munsters doesn't make it any more fun than the boring Pro. Dwight HAS to re-think this game and do-over.
Tron LE - still trying to like it, still don't get it.
ColorDMD LCD still > ColorDMD LED

    #796 4 years ago

Alice is an absolute blast at home, with the sound cranked up, and not competing with a pinball show to be heard. We’d be happy to open up for wanyone interested in playing ours. Weekend traffic usually isn’t terrible.

If you do buy one, get a 60mm fan for the power supply. Those MeanWell power supplies are noisy in a bad high pitch kinda way.

I say forget tron then, there are three others to take your attention.

I personally need to own it.

But I feel the same way about mm. So I rejoice and it's one less pin on my want list.

I'm on the hook on tron. Like a fish.
