Reassembled Cyclone this evening and other than one loose GI bulb this surprise free find took the show like a champ with 445 five ball games. By the way mof, you were supposed to beat my high score, I think a rematch is in order and before I forget thanks for the Ciffy’s, what an improvement they made!

Does anyone have the official count of how many games were there?
pinwiztom earlier stated he counted 310 on Sunday, which is the number I heard Sunday afternoon.
The GSPF website "bring your games" page now shows a whopping 364 games.

Last I heard we hit 333 on the show floor and there were a few in the camp ground too!

364 includes games that were signed up but did not arrive. I think pinwiztom is close.

One of the Night Moves is owned by Kyle at Pinball Pirate. You could call over there and ask him.

My daughter counted the show floor games late Saturday afternoon as part of the kids scavenger hunt and came up with 311, though she forgot to count the pins in the PPM Airstream.

Definitely aware of the water situation and we will work on it. World of Wonders switched to smaller bottles part way thru the show, not sure why but that will definitely be addressed. There is a drinking fountain over in Jackson Hall where our seminars were held (right when you walk in), but agree it's not easy to spot.

My 3 games racked up just shy of 1,150 games and my feet and legs feel as if I walked as many miles having jumped right back to work today, I can only imagine how tired you and the rest of the crew is after all that hard work! Got my games reassembled and put back in place but I don’t have the energy to do a full clean and wax just yet, maybe I’ll use the long holiday weekend to do that.

I dunno...If the main issues are hand blowers and water, then I'm gonna say that the inaugural show was a total success.

I think I paid a dollar for a 3 ounce bottle of water. After that, I had to walk to Burger King to get water.

A big "nope"....The bottles of water were a generous 16 oz for a buck. Perhaps you were "distracted".

I never bothered to count any of the pins at the RV campground
(I did count the 5 pins in the lucky juju trailer)
and when i arrived Sunday AM, A SingAlong was being rolled out the door having been sold
and It looked like there might have been maybe a dozen other pins (empty spots in pin lineups)
that had probably gone home early with owners who could not stick around for rest of show on Sunday,
so willing to bet there was at least up to 325 pins at some point during the show.

That's a really good point. I love the informal pinball show that has sprung up around the pinball festival

There is know way mine was 16 ounces. It was only 3-4" tall, on Saturday 11 am

I have been contemplating whether to do a "thank you" post or not. So many to thank, and I'll feel like $hit if I forget someone, but I need to express my appreciation to several people. Many are not on Pinside, or might not be following this thread, but I hope they know how much their contribution means to me.

In no particular order...thanks to the following:

Adam Preszler and Spencer Clingan: hosting my two games since last year's show, bringing them to this show, and setting them up. Spencer also helped the family who bought my Comet load up at show's end. and he took my Devil's Dare for safe keeping until it sells or I'm ready for it.

Seth Holder for spending his Sunday afternoon helping a family who wanted to buy an early SS game. They decided on my Comet.

Greg Creech for having the tools and being in the right place at the right time when I needed to leave, but I had locked my keys in my truck.

My buddy Chris who brought his tent trailer down on Thursday night, so I had a place to stay, even though he was unable to return until Saturday night.

JJ Babich, who volunteered his trailer site for the annual bbq, as well as provided water, soda, and beer.

Brad Grant for all the condiment varieties, including hand chopped onions.

Richard Urie for the plates, Vino (name?) for the napkins, and Merrcat (name?) for the utensils. Sorry I have forgotten your names.

Todd and Susi DeStefani for another beautifully decorated cake, delicious cookies, and heavenly lemon bars!

JerryB, Lee Bellhumeur and Hector, Giao, and Adrian Villalobos for helping set up before the bbq.

Everyone who brought pop up shades and side dishes (sorry, I don't know who all brought what).

Whoever returned tables and chairs to the hall Saturday evening.

Just attempted to count the pins as shown on the video walk thru of the show (on SAT)
as posted on pinball news
and I came up with ~340 pins this time,
and that is not counting any games brought or sold at the swap meet.

Does anyone know what kind of lighting was in that sweet Johnny Mnemonic that was located in the far west hall? It almost looked like it was black light and it popped the artwork like c-r-a-z-y!! Is it a kit and if so, where was it sourced? My JM needs this!

That's my Johnny Mnemonic. It wasn't a kit, I just grab some Led strips off of Amazon and wired them up to a GI light. I think I used a purple down in the trough and then a blue one up above the glove. Yeah that game really pops with the lighting the way it is. Thanks for the compliment I appreciateit. Any questions about it just message me.

Was really hoping to get a chance to play that Johnny Mnemonic but could never find it open (and was too overstimulated to wait in many lines). Brings me back to my teenage years at the arcade! Maybe next year...

Next year maybe a vendor should donate cases of water to the show, maybe the show can put them on ice in some buckets throughout? I would be willing to donate 10 cases or so should do it =)

Thanks JJ for your generosity! Yeah, several of us have ideas that we will begin brainstorming on and see what floats to the top. We will definitely throw your offer into the mix!

If the show is making money selling bottle water continue to sell it, just get a bigger size bottle. I think the show was great and they did a outstanding job. From what I've seen on Pinside the biggest complain was very small waters for sale and no paper towels in the restrooms. Really!! This show continues to get better every year!! We in Northern California are very lucky to have this in our backyard. If you love Pinball this show is a must!! My thanks goes out to the group who puts this together, this does not happen overnight and there is a lot of sacrifice by all.

Thanks for brining it! Enjoyed several games on it and it was also one of my wife’s favorites

JJ, I was one of the people that brought the cases of water. I figured that two cases would help the effort.
What I need to do is bring a big cooler with ice next year to put them in, so that is on me. I will up my game on that.

Lukewarm water was not the way to go. This is why you ended up with unused extra cases.

Who brought the Last Action Hero game? It played so good.

Had an amazing time this year, the new location is great and looking forward to next year. Thanks to everyone that brought games and the techs that kept things running. Hopefully next year I can sort out transportation to bring a game or two.

Since I didn't see this mentioned in prior comments, it would be nice if there were better designated smoking areas. As a non-smoker (well cigarettes at least ), with someone that is allergic, it was a bit of a bummer that it was hard to avoid outside.

Speaking of the raffles, thanks to everyone who contributed some awesome prizes!! I know we bought quite a few tickets ourselves (and snagged a few sweet prizes) and I hope lots of others did as well. It would be great to see full cups all around as detrimental as that may be to my own odds.
