Clay just posted that he has moved the VFW show for 2017,
as to not conflict with PAGG2017,
so we need everyone from the west coast to caravan to Michigan next year
1st weekend in May, to represent, no excuses.
Then head back to Cali two weeks later to end the pinball journey at PAGG.
How many of you are up for it?
    ========================================================
Note for 2017 we made the show dates so they do not overlap with Pin-a-go-go. We have had the same dates for 3 years in a row, so for 2017 we changed our dates so they shouldn't overwrite each other. I just hope we don't over lap Allentown now, but since they haven't announced, that will be their decision, not ours.

    Quoted from mrgone:

    351 days until pagg 2017.

I count 354 days from and including: Monday, May 30, 2016
To, but not including Friday, May 19, 2017
    (weekend after Mothers Day)

    Quoted from mrgone:

Oh, there are plenty of old games here in ca. they are all in storage units collecting dust.

    Sorry.
Soon they will be collecting dust in the PPM's new warehouse in Alameda CA.

I second the call for a Fall PAGG (2nd) show

    #55 7 years ago
    Quoted from merccat:

Pacific Pinball Expo would come back

IT may happen sooner than you think now that the PPM recently acquired a new larger storage warehouse
where there may be enough room leftover to put on a smaller downsized show or event ( as compared to PPE).

    How many days until PAGG?

    now hear this
    an autumn show in NorCal
    is returning.
IT has got to be true
    because here is the poster.
    No turning back now.

    Shoot_the_MoonPoster_(resized).jpgShoot_the_MoonPoster_(resized).jpg

    P.S.
    Anyone in Bakersfield area
can come to Derrell's Mini Storage on Columbus near Mt.Vernon
    And load 200+ pins
to help transfer them to their new home
at the new PPM storage facility and event center in Alameda this weekend.
This SAT noon to 7pm and SUN noon to 7pm (Aug 20/21)

    #71 7 years ago
    Quoted from hawkmoon:

Motel rooms in Alameda are scarce, and expensive!!

Fortunately for me, a good high school buddy lives in Alameda.
Though I might recommended the Extended Stay America Hotel for a decent price motel room.
    http://www.extendedstayamerica.com/?mid=ps-bran-geo-goo-

Again sorry to hijack the PAGG thread,
but this renewed additional show in Nor Cal
is like a PAGG2 in the fall.

Its all downhill from here on out.
It will be here before you know it.

    Quoted from fireball2:

Little Chief! One of the few Steve Kordek games I haven't played. Can't believe they made over 6K of them, and I ain't even seen one.

Agreed that for a not so "rare" game,
i have not seen it come up all that often,
only time i can remember was at a super auction in OC
    about 20 yrs ago.

looking forward to seeing what the poster will look like

For those too lazy to look it up
    http://pinagogo.org/

    #363 7 years ago

I have now donated a GTB Timeline
that I bought from Steve years ago,
    to the PPM
    in Steve's memory and honor,
so hopefully someone from the PPMuseum Annex
can bring it to the PAGG show, this year or in future.

    2 weeks later
    #401 7 years ago

I know GTB Time Line will be coming from the PPM.
Cliffy may know about other Sys80 pins

    1 week later
    #489 7 years ago
    Quoted from Cheddar:

    mileage will kill you

When i lived in Bakersfield Ca
I thought about renting a truck one time
to bring a bunch of games
but it proved too costly (with mileage added, plus gas roundtrip)
so just had to be satisfied to bring 1 or 2 pins in the back of my S-10 pickup.

    #507 7 years ago
    Quoted from Silver_Bullet:

Midway Race-Way - Working, needs to be shopped out. Flaking in red areas of backglass. $2500

This is the one that is most tempting to me.

How about you donate it to the Pacific Pinball Museum
and use it as a tax write off
and be immortalized forever (with a commemorative donors plaque.)

    #610 6 years ago
    Quoted from Sparky:

    Bring a side dish.

    How does everyone feel about
    carrot raisin pineapple salad or
    ambrosia salad or
    Creamy Broccoli/Cauliflower Casserole or
    Ratatouille.

In other words, what is your least favorite side dish?

    #639 6 years ago
    Quoted from Azmodeus:

    Anyways Russian dish

    How about some kind of
Beef, Beet and Cabbage Borscht topped with sour cream

    #675 6 years ago
    Quoted from pinballholder:

    We have about 40+ EMs

IS Larry Z bringing his usual allotment of woodrails and wedge heads?

Any live streaming planned this year or at future shows?

    #1021 6 years ago
    Quoted from Xscrapiron:

Going out with a blast last time in Dixon.

Besides the previously photo of the posted sign
this is the first that i heard of a change of venue for PAGG.
That may be both good and bad,
as i hope that PAGG does not lose its (homey cozy chummy) feel.
There may be a few expected bumps when opening a new venue next year
as the current PAGG show at Dixon is pretty much a well oiled machine.
Assuming the new location is larger and probably be able to keep everything under one roof,
though i kinda liked the old Dixon fairgrounds layout.
Probably more nearby hotels and eating choices available in Lodi.
Sign says formerly PinAGoGo, is there a name change coming for the show?
Is there camping available the Lido Grape/Wine Festival venue?

Hope the new organizers do not run into problems like were depicted in
the movie Step Brothers at the "Frickin Catalina Wine Mixer"

    #1022 6 years ago

More photos of Steve's Sys80 memorial line up, please.
What other pins made it into the sys80 lineup
besides Spirit and Time Line and Eclipse and ????

    #1071 6 years ago

The move to the new location is probably a smart one,
but have to say i am not a fan (just yet)
of the new name of the "Festival"

    #1104 6 years ago
    Quoted from genex:

A few pix from the weekend

How do all your photos look clearer and cleaner than real life.
Are you unable to take a crap photo.
Half of everything thing i take always look like i have St.Vitus dance.

Still think the Golden State Pinball Festival name needs to be changed,
It has no personality or pizazz to it,
sounds like someone from Lodi's park and recreation dept or a non-pinball committee came up with it.
MrArt2u's suggestion of Pin-A-Lo-Di is better than GSPF.

I do think the move to Lodi will ultimately be a good decision
easier commute from both nor & so Cal.

    #1105 6 years ago

How about the Golden State Pinball Festival
presents PinAGoGo or Pinathon or Pin-A-Lo-Di?

    #1128 6 years ago
    Quoted from MrArt2u:

And, BIG NEWS. Steve Charland's personal Spirit has been added to the Silent Auction that ends Sunday at noon.
AGAIN. STEVE'S PERSONAL SPIRIT CAN BE YOURS. Possibly the best and most reliable Spirit in the country. The money goes to his wonderful family and a portion goes to the Dixon Teen Center.
Last I checked, the bidding was at $8k.

Any body know what happened to the silent auction for Steve's Spirit?
