Clay just posted that he has moved the VFW show for 2017,
as to not conflict with PAGG2017,
so we need everyone from the west coast to caravan to Michigan next year
1st weekend in May, to represent, no excuses.
Then head back to Cali two weeks later to end the pinball journey at PAGG.
How many of you are up for it?

Note for 2017 we made the show dates so they do not overlap with Pin-a-go-go. We have had the same dates for 3 years in a row, so for 2017 we changed our dates so they shouldn't overwrite each other. I just hope we don't over lap Allentown now, but since they haven't announced, that will be their decision, not ours.

I second the call for a Fall PAGG (2nd) show

IT may happen sooner than you think now that the PPM recently acquired a new larger storage warehouse
where there may be enough room leftover to put on a smaller downsized show or event ( as compared to PPE).

can come to Derrell's Mini Storage on Columbus near Mt.Vernon
And load 200+ pins
to help transfer them to their new home
at the new PPM storage facility and event center in Alameda this weekend.
This SAT noon to 7pm and SUN noon to 7pm (Aug 20/21)

Fortunately for me, a good high school buddy lives in Alameda.

I have now donated a GTB Timeline
that I bought from Steve years ago,
to the PPM
in Steve's memory and honor,
so hopefully someone from the PPMuseum Annex
can bring it to the PAGG show, this year or in future.

I know GTB Time Line will be coming from the PPM.

When i lived in Bakersfield Ca
I thought about renting a truck one time
to bring a bunch of games
but it proved too costly (with mileage added, plus gas roundtrip)
so just had to be satisfied to bring 1 or 2 pins in the back of my S-10 pickup.

This is the one that is most tempting to me.

How about you donate it to the Pacific Pinball Museum
and use it as a tax write off
and be immortalized forever (with a commemorative donors plaque.)

Besides the previously photo of the posted sign
this is the first that i heard of a change of venue for PAGG.
That may be both good and bad,
as i hope that PAGG does not lose its (homey cozy chummy) feel.
There may be a few expected bumps when opening a new venue next year
as the current PAGG show at Dixon is pretty much a well oiled machine.
Assuming the new location is larger and probably be able to keep everything under one roof,
though i kinda liked the old Dixon fairgrounds layout.
Probably more nearby hotels and eating choices available in Lodi.
Sign says formerly PinAGoGo, is there a name change coming for the show?
Is there camping available the Lido Grape/Wine Festival venue?

Hope the new organizers do not run into problems like were depicted in
the movie Step Brothers at the "Frickin Catalina Wine Mixer"

The move to the new location is probably a smart one,
but have to say i am not a fan (just yet)
of the new name of the "Festival"

How do all your photos look clearer and cleaner than real life.
Are you unable to take a crap photo.
Half of everything thing i take always look like i have St.Vitus dance.

Still think the Golden State Pinball Festival name needs to be changed,
It has no personality or pizazz to it,
sounds like someone from Lodi's park and recreation dept or a non-pinball committee came up with it.
MrArt2u's suggestion of Pin-A-Lo-Di is better than GSPF.

I do think the move to Lodi will ultimately be a good decision
easier commute from both nor & so Cal.
