Ok. That sounds good.
Day 3. Still trying to wake up with some help from Tanzanian dark roast. 3 more cups and I will see you there.
Finally made it home. Police Force went on to a new home and I am dead tired. What an amazing weekend.
Anyone else's forearms ache?
Now that was a whole bunch of fun! Not only were there more games then in years past, but I played more new games this weekend than in recent memory.
Best part was hanging out with awesome friends like PracticalSteve, Ambassador of all things PAGG; MrGone, Fireball2, Reefkpr, Pinballew and meeting new friends like BicycleNut and his son. So cool to see younger people so into pinball.
Thank you once again to Sparky for the BBQ/ Get-together. Didn't eat or drink, but enjoyed socializing with other Pinsiders.
I discovered that I like Aerosmith much more than I thought I would... such a fun game. Batman66 was much better than I had anticipated. Wish I could afford one.... Went 0-3 in attempts to play Houdini due to the machine having issues.
As much as I hate to, I have to admit that after playing it several times this weekend, I'm not a fan of Ghostbusters.
Thanks again to everyone for making the final PAGG go out on a high note.
Quoted from rvdv:One question ... Why ????!
I'm confident that any/all of the organizer would be happy to answer that question. I applaud their decision to move and look forward to the new venue.
Congratulations to all who worked so hard over the years to make PAGG such a success.
Steve (in Escalon, CA)
Thank you all for pics, didn't realize this was the send off!!!
I'm clearly not "in the know" but any reason it can't be can't still be called PAGG?
Contract?
Quoted from merccat:Farewell Dixon! It's been fun, thanks for the memories.
Every time I see that banner, the theme from the Jefferson's immediately pops into my head.
Maybe revive the Pin-a-thon name?
The move to the new location is probably a smart one,
but have to say i am not a fan (just yet)
of the new name of the "Festival"
I see it now, thanks
Dixon has his little charm
And the smallness of this barn for the games makes it familiar.
(If that's the right word)
Been to Texas , just enormous !
Cal extreme : too crowded
I hope the new spot doesn't loose its flair that PAGG had.
Do not like the new name for this by the way.
Anyhow good luck for 2018
I will miss the people in Dixon ones a year
Thank you to all that worked so hard to make this show what it is! I had a blast once again! Ok a side note I am in for the new location . But can we still have PAGG another month maybe winter of fall in Dixon?
Rob
Is anyone else's ears ringing? Man I had a great time, thank you to everyone that contributed to an AWESOME weekend! There are so many that I will just leave it at that. Man I met so many very cool people! Good times!
I have a ton to say about the show that has to wait until tomorrow (too frigging tired) but as far as the move, it's my understanding that the Lodi facility has air conditioning and allows beer inside, I don't think anyone would argue with that after the heat this weekend!
Let's vote on a secondary show name and location stays the same but a different date PAGG lives on! I love PAGG ! I am in! Sorry don't want to be an instigator but I feel like the increased interest might be enough to pull this off. If all of you are against this then no problem. I will go with the majority!
Rob
I saw the crowd ! Maybe this will work! If not pls tell me to shut down and I will. I know these shows are a lot of work.
Rob
I just got home about an hour ago. This years show was a lot better than last years! Call me strange, but I had a lot of fun being a pintech. I loved the opportunity to lift the playfields on so many different machines! I worked on everything from a 1960's Gottlieb wedge head to fixing a flipper on a Rob Zombie. I can't wait to do it again next year in Lodi.
Well it's official. 2 days, 15hrs of game play.
My fist pin event and even bought my first pin. Let the addiction begin.
Thanks Mark and Mike for a great weekend. Don't know your pinside handles, but this Mark on the right... lol
Great time organizers, well done. Great group of people.
See u in July

Was it the PF in the main hall? That was my first pin I bought five years ago. Was cool to see it hasn't changed much in all that time.

Why did the name have to change? I missed that...

Nope, mine was the other machine in the Denverton hall. It was between Hardbody and Hurricane.
I looked at my phone and I took 17,000 steps on Saturday and 16,000 Friday and Sunday. Apparently I walk around a bunch at PAGG. I had a great time and played so much pinball. Thanks to all the organizers and to all the people who brought games. I learned about a few that I didn't know were so awesome.
I hope the atmosphere in the new space is as good and relaxed. I appreciate being able to crack a cold one and not worry about security bothering me at all. I truly feel that we had the run of the place in Dixon and we did no harm.
Quoted from PinMonk:Why did the name have to change? I missed that...
I think the venue owns the name. Not that it's worth anything to them now.
Home. Safe. Victory.
Too tired for a long hippy love post but, honestly, this was the best PAGG to date. The team(s) nailed it!
Looking forward to Pin-A-Lo-Di 2018!
Cheers!
Art (& Amanda)
I love that show and swap meet too. We almost bought a beautiful 1961 Nash Metropolitan there this morning for the same money as a Ghostbusters Pro!
They're not going anywhere HOWEVER, they're not staying at the Best Waffle Hotel anymore. No trailers on Saturday night. Easy parking...

For sure its a blast! Got to work on that Rob Zombie too... let me guess you got the right flipper? I had fixed the left the the day before and later noticed the right had the same issue but was done for the night and playing/talking with some new friends at the time. First spooky pin I got to lift the hood on though so that was cool.
Anyway... we made it home. Had a blast, too many great people and stories... must... sleep.
Just now sitting down to eat my dinner. Made it home in great time. Unloaded, returned the trailer, showered and now food. I had a great time this year. I was so tempted to buy something even though I didn't have the room or money. Soon I will. Met so many awesome people. @merccat, Ryan and Kath you guys are awesome.
Halfway back home, what a great send off year.
Looking forward to bigger and brighter times in Lodi next year.
Thanks for the fantastic weekend Pagg, and everyone that came this year.

I just got home about 15 minutes ago. All games safely home. Everyone, Thank you all for all you do to make pin a go go what it is.
I promise you will not be disappointed in the new location or the show. It will allow the show to grow, while still retaining what makes pin a go go so great. The small town, lets clean up the barn and put on a show vibe. More info will come soon. Just be you, play pinball, and see you all in Lodi next year.
Big thanks to Steve Subota (might be spelling that wrong) for being my bar back at the BBQ! No way I could have gotten all those drinks out without him.
I am glad I was able to attend pin a go go once. (2 years ago now)
The small town feel made me feel at home, I grew up in Plymouth Michigan.
I Also met Steve Ritchie as a blubbering idiot that I am. All I could say was thank you.
I couldn't have attended anyways. It's a6.5 hour drive, and I don't drive. But it was my health that stopped me, ultimately.
I will of course go to any new event. I wanted to see all the Steve Charland stuff set up and perhaps play his spirit. Nope.
Peace.
