Cool, So basically it is on the owner to get that dialed in before the event starts. I will try the replay level on Spy Hunter and rig my EM to be free as well.

    #502 7 years ago

I count around 110 games so far on the list, and the big guns haven't weighed in yet.
    Let's go daddio!

    #503 7 years ago

MrGone,is there a list of pins for the "Color DMD" section yet??

    #504 7 years ago

Hey Hawkmoon, check with @fattrain. He usually works with Randy from ColorDMD. I have not heard of an official line up yet.

    #505 7 years ago

    Quoted from jellikit:

I know that there is a separate thread for this and it has been posted to the PAGG Facebook page, but want to do my best to make sure anyone going to the show who might be interested in a Spirit of Steve Charland print or poster saw this as I know with all the activity on Pinside that threads can get buried. There are two versions as seen below, a 20" x 30" poster and a 8" x 12" print seen with a 8.5" x 11" piece of white paper to show scale. If interested, please complete the Google Form below to assist me in regards to quantities and details:
    https://goo.gl/forms/p986GZf6xRpsGLwm2
If you are going to PAGG but would like your order sent, please just indicate that on the form. All proceeds from sales will go to the Charland family. Thank you for your interest and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
    Sincerely,
    Brad Czernik (CARGPB #22)

    Quoted from practicalsteve:

    Thanks again for making these

I am happy to do what I can for Steve's family and in his memory. Your support has been great and appreciated. I look forward to shaking your hand in just over a month.

    Quoted from Silver_Bullet:

Midway Race-Way - Working, needs to be shopped out. Flaking in red areas of backglass. $2500

This is the one that is most tempting to me.

How about you donate it to the Pacific Pinball Museum
and use it as a tax write off
and be immortalized forever (with a commemorative donors plaque.)

    #508 7 years ago

A lot of talk about trucking and hauling pins on previous page.
This is what i use, worked great last year and not that expense, but also not cheap.
5 x 8, you can fit 5 folded up coin door towards sky.

    #509 7 years ago

pinballholder was able to move 5 pins (I think) on an open u-haul trailer on the legs. There was zero open space and the pins were very secure. The cost savings made it worth it.

    #510 7 years ago

Call me paranoid but didn't want to go open air for security sake and road hazards (flying debris).

I have the covered 5x8 currently reserved that Eric mentioned. It was $100 for Thursday through Monday with their added trailer insurance.

Yeah, actually folded on their backs I could fit 3 more if anyone between Visalia and Dixon wants.

    #511 7 years ago

I have big opinions about moving pins on legs. Not a fan at all, seen the damage it can do. One big bump with head folded down, even if shrink wrapped or ratched...dented side rails and broken glass..
The list is long against moving with legs. We all have our own experiences and comfort level. I won't judge or criticize.
Im also driving 8 hours north, long haul, balls removed and coin door up, best for me.

    #512 7 years ago

yeah, it was a 45 minute drive and with ratcheting straps and high wall trailer sides, it was super secure. Pins get moved on their feet all the time in box trucks and trailers in my experience. I get the dangers though, and the longer you are on the road, the more the danger increases.

I am with Eric, I don't judge or criticize...unless you are hauling a pin on its legs in a back of a regular pickup...with the head up

    #513 7 years ago

"Never underestimate people's willingness and illegality of hauling coin operated equipment via any means possible."

Good news, the fine folks at Best Western in Dixon have just added four additional rooms to the group. Once these are gone, there will be no more discounted rooms left. When you call to make your reservations, just ask for the Pin-a-Go-Go rate.

    See ya in 37 days!

    #515 7 years ago

Ughh.. I really want to bring my NGG, but I don't think I can squeeze that in the back of my suburban with my BK, and not ding up the cabinets.

They were out of the rooms when I booked but they called me back an honored it, so after the four rooms are gone maybe if you ask real nice

    #517 7 years ago

And I just booked one of those fine rooms! Looking forward to my first Pin-a-Go-Go

I can get 2 in my pilot if I remove the head on one. The body goes across and then a pin goes in straight. Then the head goes next to the pin.

    #519 7 years ago

Back in the day I could fit two Ballys in a 95 ford escort hatchback. Frontier and Playboy... picked em up as a pair. Fun times lol

Now that's the pin a go go spirit!
Oh, 37 days until pin a go go!

    #521 7 years ago

Possibly The Lost World might make an appearance along with Frontier.

Well the head has to come off of BK anyway to move it. I may break out the measuring tape and see if I can make it work. I put a lot of work into the BK cabinet, and I really don't want to mess it up.

    #523 7 years ago

Good morning pinheads. 36 days until pin a go go.

    #524 7 years ago

    Friday bump.

Good Morning Mr gone 36 and counting!!!

Wrap with moving blankets (about $5.00 per bag at harbor freight) then wrap with plastic wrap to hold it together (about $15.00 at uhaul for a massive roll that will last many pinball moves).... thats my plan at least.

We've booked a room for Friday night and will be participating in Friday and Saturday's festivities. After this coming week; before dads memorial on Saturday we should have an idea of what games of dads will be at pin-a-go-go to let the organizers know to arrange transportation. We are hoping to have a list of games for sale at least a week prior. Thank you to everyone who has expressed interest in owning part of my dads collection and to everyone who has reached out to help.

Yes we will be keeping some of his collection. It was his life work and a love of passion. I ordered this for my game room which will be a tribute to him.

Blownfuse_Spawn, I will be helping with the load from your house to Pin-A-Go-Go. I'm just the muscle for the loads/unloads and will leave it to Cliffy for the details. Being a Castro Valley guy makes it easier for me.

Happy to help preserve the memories and help your family.

Ok, NGG is signed up... It sounds like there will be a lot of games for sale this year compared to last year.

Azmo, are you coming to PAGG?

    #549 7 years ago

    32 days pinheads.

    #550 7 years ago

Thanks for asking about me coming. I sure hope so. I have a heart procedure to be scheduled soon, but I am sort of stuck in medical billing delays. It's been delayed twice, and when it happens I have to go. I hope to attend atleast one day this year. I should be there on the Saturday, regardless of how long I can stay. So I hope yes I can be there on Saturday. Next year when I am out of the woods I will need to attend multiple days.
