Quoted from mof:

I say, we should break this up into two components:
1. agree on the text together
2. the contest is the artwork.

Yeah, I could put any text you want on that, obviously.

Quoted from mof:

What would the fonzi do?
He'd walk up to ANY game, and declare, "Hey this is my game, I need to figure out why it's crediting 4 players when only one person is playing, please step aside a moment. Let me run a few checks on it. Strange, for me it's only crediting one player. Go figure... And continue playing..."

Then he'd hit the table, yell "Ayyyy," and the machine would go into wizard mode. Oh, and two girls would come out and take him by the arm, escorting him out.

I have to figure out what to do with the eyes. Maybe the hog should be wearing a pinball shirt?

My apolgies that it has taken me a while to get back to our contest, having a newborn sure seems to take a lot of time!
I think we have a clear winner! Congratulations to JSA for designing the best pinball hog card! I would like to make one edit, where it says press start only once for one player, maybe add "If you are playing alone" I wouldn't want people to think they are not allowed to play with others.
Please contact me via PM so I can get your art file for printing. Also let me know your shirt size for the Spirit shirt.

Thanks so much! Thanks everyone for the votes and support. I'll PM you directly.

See you all at the show! Getting super excited.

Is there a formal process for expressing interest and buying pins at the show?

For those who have yet to play GOT, I predict you're gonna love it. I logged 20+ games in Vegas recently and I found it to be a whole bunch o' fun.

It's totally fun. Though I have to admit I prefer pro over LE, but that's just me.

How do you guys typically manage power distribution?

#733 3 years ago

Do you guys have any stats on where people were coming from last year? I'd love to see year over year, I bet this is spreading.

I have this nervous feeling I'm going to end up with my 2nd pin at this show. My wife is going to kill me.

Quoted from hawkmoon:

Bump practicalsteve! My wife, same action! now i have 6! I'm old! I don't beg! I just say i forgot she said anything, and take her out for a good meal!! Old school tactics!

Yeah, she is into pinball, which is great...she's just not into the space it takes. I've learned as long as what is sacrificed space-wise comes from me vs. her, we're good. Still, looking at the list, there are so many I'm interested in! Anxiety of choice.

Anybody have a WPC-S MPU board they are trying to part with?

Badges are at the booth. Only the boring black lanyards until gamexchange drops off the cool Pinside ones.

On my way there. See you all soon folks!

Quoted from Mycal:

The MMR LE that Rick spoke of, is listed for sale $9500 and "for display only" by a small local distributor. Not at the PPS/Bay Area Amusements booth. Can confirm that inserts on that #700 series LE have lightly printed inserts, by a friend who owns an earlier edition LE. Can't tell anything about software from the display mode.

Confirmed, inserts have lightly, semi-translucent printed letters on the machine on display.
