Awesome. Looking forward to this, also.
So the install of the sword is super easy. The hard part is putting the small lock nuts on the small screws in a small space with adult hands back onto the playfield that you easily took off No issues, has worked for every shot, no misses. Everything lined up and fit perfectly. 100% worth the wait!

We need an emergency game night at your place.

Same! It wasn't too bad for me either. I used these to get the lock nuts back on.

I ended up magnetizing a nut driver to hold it in place. Just had to carefully move it around until I hit the hole. After those two nuts (for the upkicker guide), the rest was much easier. I was surprised at how dead on the holes on the sword lined up with the playfield screws .... not even Ikea furniture or Arcade1Up cabs line up that perfectly
Happy to see that everything is going fine with the install guys.
I use a magnetic socket for the two diverter nuts, without that it could be a bit tricky.
What is your first in-game impression ?
Quoted from November:What is your first in-game impression ?
It screwed me up big time LOL . I am so used to everything going to the right flipper, it took a couple of games to get used to it. However the benefit of having a shot feed the left flipper is it totally changes the gameplay for the better. Especially when the right orbit is lit, or you need to hit the ball lock target. The other thing is it looks like it belongs. Many mods are pretty obvious but this sword matches perfectly, fits perfectly, and feels like its always been there.
I really think that this ramp was planned to be here from the factory. I don't know if its the same on yours but i had a little mylar sticker from factory in the inlane, just where the ball falls from the ramp.
I don’t have a BKSOR but I had to chime in and say how great this mod is! Adding to the gameplay and the looks!

That's interesting.. I've def had the feeling SR was not allowed to do everything he had in mind due to an insane BoM.

That's common! All machines from Stern these days have mylar squares in both inlanes, whether they have habitrails leading to them or not.
And I just beat the game for the first time shortly after installing this. My son says too bad my wizard mode was "tool assisted" lol.

well done ! not easy to kick the BK ass !!!
(friendly) tell your son that this mod, while improving the left-right "balance" flipper feed, also make the game a bit more difficult, as the left flipper should not really be used to aim for what mostly guys are thinking (dangerous ball back)
Quoted from RC_like_the_cola:Another kit has landed and installed. Is the long replacement hex spacer supposed to go on the left or right, when facing the front of the game?
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
The long hex spacer is on the right, on the handle.
Hope you enjoy the sword
