1001. Your welcome.
Quoted from MarkInc:I'm moving the code over to mpf 0.50 (in development) at the moment. Many new things, optimizations, bug fixes in the platform update.
I'm taking the time to refine the game structure a bit.
I wanted to have multiple modes stacking, and I did get it working, but it was just too chaotic.
With 3 mode branches, hurry-ups, combos, multipliers all fighting for attention, it was hard to follow.
I am now balancing it so that Oogie modes and Holiday Door modes are exclusive - not overlapping.
They can overlap with some of the Character modes though where it makes sense.
I'm also enhancing the sfx, music and the light shows for each mode.
It's making it much more enjoyable.
TODO on the hardware side:
- wire forms in stainless.
- paint trees
- side blade artwork
- ramp side artwork
- white tub with legs
- finish the apron
- finish back box cutout
- finish the plastics artwork
- animated Oogie Figure
- add ventilation(fans) to cabinet. (playing with glass on - it gets hot in there!)
- fix subway/vuk entrance (it's loose and ball traps in the gap occasionally)
- re-seat guide wires (loose holes - fill with bondo or something)
Next time I have buddies over, we will record some video. Was too hard to do during party last week.
Don't forget spotlights
Never had the pleasure of landing in this thread until today. Your work is awesome! The layout is especially unique, your toys/gimmicks are great. Art is good. Can't wait for more video, keep it up!
Quoted from MarkInc:mpf 0.50 move progressing well.

Oh man is that nice, I'd LOVE to play this. Are you gonna put cut outs with light up art in the apron? I wonder how Pin Stadium would look on this? Take another picture like this one but take the glass off.
That really came together well... ya gotta stare at that for a bit every time you turn it on.
I bet in person it's stunning!
My wife says shed divorce me and marry you just to have this game in her house...
I think id divorce her and marry you too for the same opportunity...
This game looks so fun and i tip my hat to you mark!

Ha! That's awesome.
Combine this with the offer to carry a child for me from the woman in Georgia, and we'd be all set!
I'd take you up on your offers, but, you know, I'm married already!
But seriously, thanks for bumping the thread.
I'm still working on coding.
I've updated my FAST hardware and moved my code over to MPF 0.50
Fixed all sorts of issues.
Modified and expanded a few modes.
Added more light shows, sfx, music.
Having some more 'testers' over during the holidays and hope to refine it even more and video too.
Merry Christmas!
Looking at that last pic, it looks very JJP-like. And I mean that in the best way. A ton of features packed into one cabinet. A complex world under glass.
My wife and I have been pining for an NBX machine since we saw the bright colors on JJ's Wizard of Oz.
Please PLEASE sell this design to them so they can make them. I'd go into some serious debt for one of these. It looks so amazing.
Quoted from MarkInc:Still working away....
Cleaning up light shows led me to move all my diverter controller logic into one easy place.
So many device to synchronize. Open this, close that, but only if this other thing, but not now.
Me brain hurts! Nice wish list by the way. Prob easier to post games that you DONT want

I figured I'd give you options when choosing my birthday gift!
Quoted from MustangPaul:Now THAT is cool. How bright are they?
not as bright as I'd like them. Same as one of my GIs. Would be nice to have one of those towers with 5 LEDS (with a ws2811b driving them as one)
What's next for this machine? Will it be the only one of it's kind? I love the theme. Can you offer to sell it to a manufacturing company and have someone like Stern buy it off you?

Ahh makes sense! When is the big day?

With all due respect, there is no way Stern would go with something like this, present day. Adding a third flipper is considered too costly for them let alone a wide body and everything that Mark has come up with. JJP could pull it off and possibly CGC and maybe some of the boutique guys.
Just my 2 cents.
Quoted from MarkInc:A Christmas gift!
You know what would look great instead of those screw heads on that plastic or others...
Playing with light shows again.
Added over 6 years ago: Looking back - this was hacky. Much better now.
Quoted from MarkInc:Those look nice. How are they lit?
What do you have supporting those plastics? If it were a clear plastic tube you may not have to light them up like I did because of all the surrounding light would light the screw shaft and the head.
Yeah you'll need zerk fittings. I had a bunch of these #6 and 8s made up special so you can't get these at a hardware store.
what a wonderful journey reading your spectacular build of a fun and beautiful pinball machine. Thank you!
Sorry to ask again, but any chance you'll be bringing your game to EXPO this year? I'd love to see it in person again with all of this wonderful artwork and finish work you've done.

Thanks!
I'm getting it ready for Allentown 2018. Less than 30 days away!
And once the 'Mike VS Rob - Who Has the Biggest Expo?" squabble is settled, I do want to take it there in October.

Awesome! FYI - it looks like EXPO is getting close to being resolved - at least it looks like there's only going to be one show and it'll be the traditional one but much improved.
