Quoted from MarkInc:I gotta quit drinking on the weekends
hmm, I see an interesting wire cage ball lock mech there....

Oh noooooo I can't add more to it!
Quoted from MarkInc:Since I'm in the doghouse, I decided to make it bigger.
Yeah, that cross over the insert will look nice lit up.
Quoted from Bonnevil69:And Mark don't use cardboard as the frame supports it gives too much use metal
Thanks for the advice. I know better - but these are just protos. Solder held up for a few hundred plays.
So, Matt, what's better - stainless wire or some other metal then chromed or painted?
I have been using stainless for everything lately. But regular steel is good to if you powdercoat it. No paint. it just flakes off
Quoted from MarkInc:Making steady progress.
Main things left to do: forest area, christmas town background/snow loop, electric chair, fonts for decals
Amazing work, been following since beginning!
Quoted from MarkInc:I want to add some flashers to my game, so I made a Roto Tower Flasher thingy with some FAST RGB LEDs.
Where did you get these at?
Quoted from futurepinhead:Where did you get these at?
I got the RGB LEDs from FAST https://squareup.com/market/fast-pinball-llc/
I used 4 of those and soldered them together - common GND, common 5V and signal in a serial chain. Connector is in the center and points out the bottom.
I'm hoping to have at least 3 towers hidden in something theme related (like what Matt did with the barrel flashers on Doom)
Is there a reason you decided to draw Lock, Shock and Barrel as compared to the rest of the characters that are screen grabs?
Quoted from T-800:Is there a reason you decided to draw Lock, Shock and Barrel as compared to the rest of the characters that are screen grabs?
Not sure really, other than not finding poses we liked for them?
I know, it's inconsistent. It's more like 50/50 now - The mayor, sleigh, snake and reindeer are drawn as well.
Quoted from Bonnevil69:I haven't shown my flashers publicly yet.
Relax, chill out with a nice ice cream cone!
Quoted from Chitownpinball:Dont the inserts match the modes and such? Have you not thought that far ahead?
99% thought out.
This target is the 'mystery' target.
Hit it a bunch of times to set up awards at the saucer.
So, initially I thought of a doorbell(Mayor visiting Jack)
But after drawing it out, not so sure.
The stocking seems to fit better thematically - scene where Jack explains Christmas to the Hallowe'en townsfolk.
The only negative is the red over the insert.
If you add white letters in the stocking maybe that would help. J, A, C, K vertical and kinda swished into the white space or something...

Great suggestion. Thanks!
Quoted from CaptainNeo:what's this?
Now, pay attention
Now we pick up an over-sized sock
And hang it like this on the wall
Oh, yes! Does it still have a foot?
Let me see, let me look
Is it rotted and covered with gook?
Nice Mark. Seems like just yesterday you were stuck on the plastic. Lol. So glad you came to your senses and went with metal. Even if I didn't get to build them

Ha! You know, if we lived closer, they'd have been done in metal 2 years ago!
