Quoted from guitarded:

I'd love to see someone roll the dice on a Sci-Fi Book Series. Something like Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn Trilogy or Salvatore's Dark Elf Trilogy would make an incredible pin.

DUNE!

** Not broad enough appeal sadly!

#266 3 years ago

I absolutely LOVE my HotWheels! So many great things about this game! So much fun to play and quality build and beautiful art work! Hands down best value out there!! I am very much looking forward to their next title!

Quoted from wamonkey:

Forbidden Planet would be cool, like retro sci-fi.

That would be awesome! The sound track alone would be a trip. All those early analog sound effects are so unique! And that movie is well before my time! But hell yes on a cool retro sci-fi theme! That one is King IMO!!

Quoted from chuckwurt:

Almost all those games are not very fun though. I wouldn’t mind a note mini upper playfield like the Elvis one though. A quick trip that adds a shot or two.

ACNC has one of the best upper playfields in pinball IMO! It's one of the main reasons I hang on to it!

So are we going to have an announcement soon?

Quoted from NoQuarters:

Getting a new Furnace and Air Conditioner next month - but that won't stop me from buying a pinball machine.
Come on AP - I'd enjoy a new pin a lot more than the New Furnace.

LOL!
And you're from Wisconsin!
I'm anxious for American's next title too, but Damn!

Quoted from Viggin900:

" Our only goal will be the western shore."

Love that song!!

Added over 3 years ago:

Ah-ah, ah!
Ah-ah, ah!
We come from the land of the ice and snow
From the midnight sun where the hot springs flow
The hammer of the gods
Will drive our ships to new lands
To fight the horde, sing and cry
Valhalla, I am coming
On we sweep with threshing oar
Our only goal will be the western shore
Ah-ah, ah!
Ah-ah, ah!
We come from the land of the ice and snow
From the midnight sun where the hot springs flow
How soft your fields so green
Can whisper tales of gore
Of how we calmed the tides of war
We are your overlords
On we sweep with threshing oar
Our only goal will be the western shore
So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins
For peace and trust can win the day despite of all your losing

Quoted from BallyKISS1978:

And once Soooky reveals you still have anywhere from 12 to 18 month before you get your game. Between then many pins will be announced and shipping and the next new “shiny thing” will hit.

18 months for my ACNC! I'll never do that again. Waaay too long of a wait for me.

I think so, as far as the colors go. Play field is not appealing.

Well, I like it!

I'd like to have a Sega Godzilla. I was just playing one out in the wild the other day. It's a fun and awesome looking game! Far better looking then the new Stern!

Is the America prototype going to be at Pinball Expo? I plan on going?

#878 2 years ago
Quoted from NC_Pin:

Dragons Lair would be pretty epic. The funny thing is that controlling Dirk via pinball action is likely easier than controlling him through the joystick. Has there ever been a game that mixed soooo much awesomeness with such awful game play?

Hell No!
Except for the PC version which managed to make it vastly worse by adding mouse control!

I'm at the point that if it's super fun to play, I don't even care about the art and animations that much. Nobody else around me will have one and I will! But, it has to be super fun to me, or no dice!

#1018 2 years ago
Quoted from onemilemore:

And this is a totally logical counterpoint to my critique above. If the gameplay is great it's certainly easy to ignore the screen.

Hell, some of my favorite games have no screen!

#1103 2 years ago

I wish American would do a really cool Infinity glass back box. I always loved those! Not sure how good it would work out with a display though.

#1125 2 years ago

If I would have made it to Expo, I would have been sad that an Oktoberfest wasn't available as I still have never seen one for real! Houdini is still one of the most beautiful pins I've ever seen and my HotWheels is awesome fun!

#1150 2 years ago
Quoted from Royale-W-Cheese:

Just come out and say it's 1K less. No one will take the classic....

NOT!

The same was said about ACNC LOL! I had one and sold it after 18 months because I could not get the shots down. It has very tight shots as well, so it was suggested to make it a wide body. This would be very cool!! But I can only imagine how this would drastically change everything! What to do with all that extra realastate?

#1318 1 year ago
Quoted from JakePG:

So classic Houdini will be $7,295. How much was it at first release?

plus $295 USD shipping (Cointaker).

Funny thing is, people that own American games love them including me! It's mostly the people who only play them in the wild once that don't. So who cares what they think?
