Quoted from Pinphila:

It was a good interview. David did great. He was forthright about the company mistakes. Based on what I heard he put together a great team and AP is heading in a great direction.
The whole idea of them selling mods for hot wheels which would change game play would be cool.

Agree, I thought that it was a great interview. Physical upgrades for an existing machine is a fantastic idea. Certainly would entice me to reconsider purchasing a game like Hot Wheels. It’s a fun game but needs just a bit more under the glass.

Quoted from benheck:

Every time Spooky asks me about theme ideas I say Duck Tales. That and Blade Runner.
Eventually somebody will make a classic Disney pin with nice clean 2D artwork and swim around like Scrooge McDuck in all the money they make.

I’d be on board with DuckTales, but it must have some of the 8-bit tunes from the NES game contained within.

Quoted from benheck:

Cuphead is awesome. Amazing creativity especially with the bosses. Yes it's very hard but it's SO satisfying when you finally beat a boss. The easiest explanation would be "Walt Disney's Contra" while a more esoteric (and accurate) explanation would be "Max Fleischer's Gunstar Heroes"

Cuphead video game is a masterpiece. The home brew pinball is spot-on, and in the hands of the right major manufacturer it could be next-level. Make the cabinet look like an old wedge head and direct-print artwork or stencil paint the logo onto the cabinet sides. Do a huge screen in the backbox like P3 or JJP, but then have a pull down roller shade with the logo and characters to serve as the backglass art when the game is off. Blend the old and the new, just like the video game.

Nailed it...
Is BBQ the biggest thing ever in the usa then or something... everyone likes a good sunday outside cooking sausages/burgers with family and friends and i get the sentiment for barry o. but seriously??? what...

We do like to barbecue here, no doubt. That being said, not once have I ever stood over my grill while waiting on my steaks to cook and thought to myself “Hey, you know what would make a great pinball theme?!?” Theme matters to me, but not as much as great gameplay with good music and callouts. I’m always willing to give a game a few plays, even if the theme is so-so. Barry O was a great designer, so I am hopeful that the game layout will be fun and interesting.
