Quoted from Viggin900:I wish I did too but I think it will be a Nordman. Hot wheels is not the best game they made,Houdini is where it is at. I had high hopes for hot wheels with the mode structure of building track etc but the shots aren't there for me to play it again. Got old quick.
Houdini is easily one of the most underpriced pinballs in existence...which I find confounding to be honest. Its build quality, animations, sounds, mechs/toys, and fun level are all great.
It only ever really has 2 complaints against it:
1) Some people says it's too hard.
-This really doesn't make sense because pin owners like games with "staying power," i.e. games that are harder so they take longer to understand and beat.
2) Some don't like the theme.
-I suppose everyone has their opinion, but I find it tough not to enjoy a super unique theme of the greatest magician ever who had a very intriguing life (and death) and who left an undeniable legacy that inspired others.
I am sure if it were themed with the matrix or back to the future, however, it would be a 15000 game.
Quoted from luvthatapex2:AP is having a seminar at EXPO tonight at 7:15pm CST
Anyone there have news from AP???
Scorbit is just ok for me, but what I really want to know is:
What is going to be the next American pinball?
Quoted from blueberryjohnson:How about just release an actually new game?
AP went from second only to Stern in terms of new game release rate to MIA:
Houdini - 2017
Oktoberfest - 2018
Hot Wheels - 2020
It's almost 2023.
Legends of Valhalla - 2021
Quoted from Viggin900:"The next american pinball"
This thread was started 3 years ago and we find out it won't be ready till next year? This thread reminds me of DeepRoot with people leaving. I mean a lot like DeepRoot.
Deeproot swindled tons of people for loads of money and never produced a pin. American pinball has consistently produced high quality, unique pins on a regular basis while leading the field in build quality and offering competitive pricing.
The two are NOTHING alike.
Quoted from Bohm:Houdini might be great, I've just have never seen one in the wild.
It is great. I have gone on record to say it is one of the most underrated games in all of pinball.
