I believe pinballnews is streaming all of the seminars from EXPO. I don't know if its realtime or they post them later. We'll see

Found it.

Pinball News plans to record every one of them across Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We hope to bring you videos of them on our YouTube channel, with each day’s seminars published overnight. Summaries of every seminar will also be added to this report, with the corresponding video added as soon as possible. We also plan to bring you audio recordings of the seminars.

Quoted from Ballderdash:

Thank you for the info. Are there ways to stream this from home?

AP is having a seminar at EXPO tonight at 7:15pm CST

Anyone there have news from AP???

#1703 1 year ago

No news on the new tank game?

No news on the new tank game?

If they showed or announced the next game I think it would be all over Pinside and the Facebook groups, looks like we're still waiting!

#1706 1 year ago

Seems like the sound is super low on all their videos.

I wonder if my Oktobefest made it into the video???

I don't hear any audio at all, did you have to change a setting in Youtube or anything?

Sound is so low I can't make anything out in any of the videos. It makes just enough noise that I can tell it's playing something that matches the lip movement. Bit of a bummer, hopefully they can fix it.

#1709 1 year ago

I could hear it by using the youtube link and cranking up the sound.

We need a quick re-cap from someone who was there but from skimming through it progress on Scorbit integration looks like the only real news.

Quoted from luvthatapex2:

I did that as loud as my PC will go and still can't hear anything.

#1712 1 year ago

The big announcement was that they are adding Score Bit to all their games and the gave new art blades for LOV.

#1713 1 year ago

I can get it loud enough if I use external speakers and crank everything up. My built in speaker is useless.

#1714 1 year ago

Other News is Nordman designed a new pinball cabinet for their future games. Here are some of his past designs.

Was finally able to listen to the video, speakerphone was insufficient but headphones did the trick. I found it odd that Joe Schober aka Ferret is missing from their "insider" video, maybe he's just shy?

I was wondering that too.

I always assumed he works remotely. If he does, that could be the reason.

Yes, I’m based in Virginia, and they filmed that in the Chicago office. Nothing insidious going on… at least, not that I know of.

Try changing the panning on your playback device. Might be panned hard right.

Pretty dull video. Was hoping for more - like some actual info of their next game, not watching someone calibrate a 3D printer to make Oktoberfest barrels. Boo.

#1721 1 year ago

I swear it looks like the same factory video I saw that was played at this years pintastic.

I wish there was a better update besides just scorebit.

I love these guys but dang it's tough.

Another huge loss for AP!

You did a great job there Dave, your videos and participation here helping owners and perspective owners were much appreciated!

Good luck with your future endeavors! Thanks again for your help with my Oktoberfest! Sad to hear you're leaving.

Big loss for API. Dave helped me troubleshoot and resolve an issue with my Houdini with communication and expertise way beyond what I ever would have expected from with any company. He’ll find success wherever he’s headed and I hope American sticks with the example he established - it’s a huge part of what makes API the greatest.

#1733 1 year ago

Barry Engler is back with AP. He's a top notch tech too.

Not to take away from all brenna98 all did for AP.

LTG : )

#1734 1 year ago

Dave will be missed for sure! Barry has been around API for a long time (minus a 'short' JJP walkbout) which will help with support consistency (which keeps me from cancelling my Houdini pre-order).

Good luck Dave!

#1735 1 year ago

Anyone know what's on the production line at API these days? Is it still LOValhalla?

Aw shoot. All the tech support staffs out there do the best they can under varying conditions and workloads, but AP's has always been the best in my experience. Thanks for that!

He is and is but according to the Pinball Magazine article when Barry rejoined it was in a completely different role of Sr. Production Manager which is not the same thing at all as you, better than most, already know.

My understanding is there are two lines running. LOV and OKT

Scorbit is just ok for me, but what I really want to know is:

What is going to be the next American pinball?

#1742 1 year ago
Quoted from Daditude:

Yup. That’s what we’re all waiting for. Until then I’ll continue to play the hell out of my Valhalla. Damn, it’s a great game!

#1743 1 year ago
Quoted from Daditude:

What is going to be the next American pinball?

I think it’s more like “when”! Yet at the same time I’m pretty sure Fix stated “2022” on the super awesome pinball show.

I’m also pretty sure we know it’s:
Galactic tank force, an Unlicensed sci fi theme
Nordman designed
Franchi artwork

The artwork is going to make the theme sweet. The designer is going to make the shots sweet. AP is likely going to build a tank quality sweet cabinet. Hopefully support is still as awesome as it was with Dave.

#1744 1 year ago

It's even more awesome, cause they have Lloyd.

#1745 1 year ago

What happened to the rumor of AP doing another run of everything but with a traditional head? Was that real or nonsense?
On Todd Tuckey's video from Expo he said something about AP reworking Houdini and Oct (reworking shots it sounded like)..... is that real?

Sure hope we get some AP stuff before the end of the year (and I don't mean a price hike).

I help what little I can on the AP threads. I don't work for AP.

How about just release an actually new game?

AP went from second only to Stern in terms of new game release rate to MIA:

Houdini - 2017
Oktoberfest - 2018
Hot Wheels - 2020

It's almost 2023.

Seems like since David Fix has taken over they stopped making new titles
