Tangential to the news that The Big Lebowski is going into production there’s been some speculation about what the other big news is. I have a hunch, based on his hints and the songs played immediately afterward, that Magic Girl maybe following suit! Now wouldn’t that be amazing?!

This seems like old news? Deeproot all but confirmed that was one of the games they were finishing to release.
Apparently this is fake news according to Jonathon Joosten of Pinball Magazine who spoke with Barry yesterday:

Entirely possible that Kaneda has bad intel, as he’s had before. Still, if Dutch has a confidentiality agreement with ARA or they’re planning a reveal at TPF, they may have to keep it under wraps and a white lie to their friends would be justified. Hopeful thinking, but we’ll find out soon enough.
Go back and investigate every claim this guy has made. Calculate the ratio of true vs. false. Then decide if he's a news source or simply an attention hungry D-list podcaster who will say anything to keep his name in your mouth.

This. He's wrong way more often than not. But he does it on purpose because it gets people talking about him which is what his real goal is.
