I heard wrestling was fake but I don't wanna believer it.
No China, no Roddy Piper or Capt. Lou Albano or Iron Sheik and I'm out.

Not my kind of theme for sure but I agree with many that this game will sell just fine for Stern. And with that wrestling ring at the top of the playfield I'm very interested in playing this game.
That said I just cannot contain myself from busting balls here:
Sterns next title: Tractor Pull pinball.
Quoted from DreamTR:I hope you guys said the same judgmental stuff about Pat Lawlor and Nascar, essentially same "theme" that people seem to "like" but you know, same crowd of people like Nascar and WWE.
Just sayin', don't be judgmental.
Look at Road Show.
Road Show. Same exact style of people everyone seems to be poking fun at.
Wait until the game comes out.
Just amazes me again, WWE is a huge freaking license, and the people mad about it don't seem to realize this and act like they know what sells pinball machines for some reason.
Unless you own your own pinball company and have almost 30 years involved in it, I would not really say there is a reason to contradict this pinball which will probably do very well sales wise, especially with operators on location.
No argument from me. But some of us just like to joke around.
I love Wheel of Fortune but you should have heard me bagging on that when it was announced. I suggested it come with a cane rest and cup holder for your teeth.
Quoted from Hazoff:This is when Wrestling was great.

I was such a Piper fan in those days. Always my favorite and always made me laugh.
Quoted from RDReynolds:Trust me, those 400 machines will easily be sold.
I agree and this licence may also bring in new pinball people.
I'm off to Google Katie Vick!
Quoted from goatdan:You know, it's funny - a lot of the crap that wrestling gets is from people who put it down and make fun of it because it's not "cool" enough, but then kind of watch it on the side.
The same could be said of soap opera's but I sure don't want a "Days Of Our Lives" machine.
Quoted from goatdan:And, for everyone on here that is a pinball nerd talking down about another class of nerd, get over it. It's weird to watch.
I think you nailed it here and I agree 100%. But there's nothing wrong with poking fun at a guilty pleasure.
(Edit) - Admittedly some of the guys have been unnecessarily harsh in their criticism here.
Quoted from Mr68:Its been probably 30 years but I may start watching wrestling again.
With the curtains closed and not tell anybody!
lol
