Quoted from Lermods:

This is not even close. by far, the JM glove is the most complex and difficult to fix mechanism that I have come across. And it’s pretty much meaningless, you can even disable it. Cool, yes, practical no.

Disagree! Sure is a f***ing complex mech, but if you disable it, you miss the whole game!

How bout this sinking institute? What were they thinking? No wonder they shelved that idea.

What game is it?

To everybody who participates.

Sometimes I really don't know if you guys are being serious or trolling each other!

Earthshaker. That sinking building didn't make the final production machine. They thought it was ridiculous too.

I'd really like to see that in action.... is there a video somewhere?

And here's that exciting video of the sinking institute.

Quoted from Colsond3:

I dare to throw it out there because it's one of my favorite games, but the Mist Ball mech in BSD.
Very cool effect IMO, but an absolute monstrosity of a mech to make the ball travel across the playfield for what takes about 4 seconds. For those that haven't seen it, it looks like a piece of a Terminator strapped to the bottom of the playfield.
And I have yet to come across a quiet one. I've seen quite a few that were problematic for the owners, especially when it comes to the optos and gates.

I love BSD's mist ball - one of coolest pinball effects ever!

May not be complicate (at least the original solution), but it's difficult to find and expensive as hell to replace (for the same "solution" or for some other specific alternate mods), and in return it gives an absolutely 0 gain: CftBL's hologram!
