I suggest to make your matchunit more Williams style. They wired their mu like this:
60 10 70 30 80 20 50 90 40 00

This resistor(in parallel with the contact of the scoremotor) will decrease the power absorbed by this contact. Normally the coils that work for a longer time have a lot of turns (like the lock relay), and coils that work for a short time less turns.
The coin lock relay has a lot of turns (type 1) but is also pulsed by the scoremotor.

When a coil is switched off, there is period that the contacts will open, but there is still a current flowing through these contacts. In this period the voltage over the contacts will rise, and because P=U*I there will be power dissipated in the contacts. And the more turns a coil has, the more energy will be dissipated. The voltagerise over the contacts will decrease by placing a resistor in series, which decrease the power dissipated in the contacts.

sorry, changed paralle with series
