Can remember all the girls wearing the “clogs”. They made lots of noise, kinda cool back then.

I think Susan George was wearing something close to Dittos.

Quoted from RWH:

The 70's can be summed up in one word, Woodstock, nuff said.

1969? Give credit where credit is due! Woodstock closed out the 60’s.

If anyone is confused about that time period, I suggest watching Forrest Gump!

Quoted from Homebru:

^^^for me...1967 was the pinnacle year for muscle cars.

For me it was 1962. SS 409.

Love the weekends, cell phone turned off!

1975 was the best year ever! Too young to drive a car but old enough to get in trouble. It was also the peak of EM’s.

Marketing the early 70s to today's kids?
And I just saved a ton of money by switching to Geico.[quoted image]

Finally, a new pin I can afford!

Let’s see, I’ve owned many Toyota’s.
‘75,’78,’79,’80 corollas.
‘80‘82 Celicas.
‘86, two 94 Toyota pickups
‘02,’16 Tacomas

I’m sure there is more.
22r, 22re were some of best motors Toyota ever made.

Quoted from Don_C:

First car, a '74, bought about '76 w/ 30K on the clock. First the FM converter, then homemade powered speaker box in the back, then the Pioneer Supertuner III w/ Cassette. That car stereo was, in the parlance of the day, 'Boss'. One day many years after I bought it, the inevitable rust caused the drivers side door to fall off. Wasn't going too fast and only a few blocks from home. Bought a yellow door off a Hornet and bolted it right in in less than an hour. Took the entire rest of the day to move the lock cylinder over with my giant meathook hands. Bastards stole my Gremlin gas cap and I had to go generic. Internet borrowed photo, but exact model, color scheme and stripe.
Don C.[quoted image]

What happened to the other half?
