Is anyone aware of any connection or confirmed inspiration for the art of Bride of Pinbot coming from Machine's Machine album cover? I think it's hard to deny.

IPDB states that Python had created the original sketch for the backglass but John Youssi was responsible for the detailed/final versions. Were either of them disco/R&B fans?
