I have an opportunity to purchase The Machine Bride of Pinbot. the game and all is in great shape, Its actually a friend of mine selling it. He wants $2800. Is that to high of a price?

Condition is king.
Its very easy to drop 1k into a game if its rough.
If the PF is in the shape you like and ramps are too...maybe its not too far out of range.
I have seen them from low 2k to 3ks.
I passed on a 1800 version over the summer due to a bad PF and rough cab.

$2800 is indeed a high price unless its really in above average condition. No playfield wear, no insert wear, ramps free of cracks/breaks, plastics all in good shape, backglass has no paint loss/defects, coin door in good shape, all boards free of hacks/damage and a cabinet that looks terrific. Demand for BOP seems to be quite high, as many seek to create a BOP 2.0. Remember, condition is everything
