Quoted from pghpinfan:I see many have the path of the dead mod? Did you all purchase these from pinballbulbs or are there other options? Really like the mod but a few bucks more I can get a color dmd
Mine came in the game. On a related note. Mine is hooked up to the g.i., doesn't anyone have a link to instructions on how to hook them up to activate with the ball entering the potd?
Quoted from Delta9:Never heard of a cc machine?
I'm thinking he meant cq for collector's quality. Unless he meant clear coated pf......
Quoted from ruzeo:I know custom shooter rods aren't very popular here but I was bored and it can always be taken out easily enough. Bought a cheap replica of sting and took the blade out and made it into my new shooter.
Quoted from PinballCharlie:Ok, so I am working on a much better alternative to Mt. Doom than just the stock decal image on the backboard (it's been driving me crazy for years). I have the design mostly done, but am looking for a 5v or 12v (5v preferred) connection that is constantly on (not tied into GI) and common to Whitestar.
I can tie into a GI lamp on the backboard really easily using a Matrix connector, but the mod is MUCH cooler with the glow of lava always on. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think there is an available 3-pin Molex 12v connector near the coin door that is common. Is there a 5v connector somewhere that is commonly available on a a stock LotR?
I'd love to make these available but I am really struggling with the wiring harness I should make.
Any help would be appreciated!
Damn.... Just sold LOTR, I would have been all over this. Looks great!
