Jarbyjibbo is right, a vaulted LOTR with an updated LCD screen,and updated code, like he talked about would be sweet. Maybe an updated look to the playfield art to make it different, might also be good. It would be 2 different machines, it would do well.

If I were a betting person I wouldn't bet on a vault edition of a game released 20 years ago. License is long expired and renewing it wouldn't make much financial sense given the limited production and the cost of adapting the game to new hardware. Plus it's just not that hard to find a used LOTR and they are usually still priced slightly less than Stern NIB Pros.

Yeah I see what your saying. What I'm saying is Stern themselves decided to send out a video containing lord of the rings content. I don't care who or what made the original. But I'm talking about Stern choosing to bring up lord of the rings. Why is that? I don't know. I bet Gary does.
