So, I was at the arcade the other day and finally destroyed the ring!
Well, sort of... I made the final shot to knock the ball out of the ring, and the ball *slowly* dribbled out (And it went in the right direction), but the game just didn't detect it, and before I could shoot the ring again one of the balls drained. So, I successfully made the final shot... but wasn't rewarded.

Oh... That would explain why I didn't win if switch 48 isn't the issue. I knocked the ball so lightly, it went so slowly I'm sure I hit plenty of switched before switch 48 would have triggered. (In fact, the plastic under the ring was broken so the ball basically fell straight into the path of the dead vuk.)
