Quoted from monkeyboypaul:

cheers - very happy with it. It's Antique Gold. Appears aged & corroded, which seems to fit the theme quite well.
Can’t decide which colour bolt to use though: silver/standard, black or brass.
1st world problems. [quoted image]

Use the black bolts.

Quoted from monkeyboypaul:

Thanks - I’m 60/40 in favour of the brass.

Well the good thing is, you can always change them.

I bought one of these modded Balrog toppers with the lights second hand. Anyone have one and what light did you tie it into under the playfield?

Thanks

No it’s not just you. We are all insane! [quoted image]

Where do you get the gold colored flipper buttons?

Quoted from Ashram56:

Good choice. I have all three 2Niro mods installed, and they are top notch

Where do you by 2Niro mods?

Thanks

Quoted from oopsallberrys:

Looks like I ordered both "Lord of the Rings - Figure Mounting Set V2 (LOTRFEETS2)" and "Lord of the Rings Plastic Protectors (LOTRPG)" back in 2013 according to my emails and I don't remember putting them on (at least not the figure mounting set). I'll look through my bin of stuff to see if I still have them. I would not be interested in selling but if someone could reproduce them for others then I could lend them out.

I would love a set of the plastics to get rid of the black tie straps if someone would make them. Who made them originally?

I see my LOTR has screws in the cabinet siderails. Does it also have double sided tape or just the screws?

Thanks

#6913 3 years ago

Anyone know where playfield tear down pics are posted for LOTR?

Thanks

My right orbit the switch sits on the right side of the lane rather than the center and registers about 50% of the time. Very frustrating

Does anyone sell path of the dead army lighting? I have the figures.

Thanks

Quoted from PinHigh1:

Pretty sure I saw it recently on pinballbulbs.com

They are out of stock, plus their kit requires 4 figures and I only have 3. Anyone else sell?

Thanks

For those of you that have the 2niro palantir mod, how are you attaching it once installed. Are you gluing it to the post?

Thanks

#7226 2 years ago
Quoted from Morgoth00:

Instructions say to CA superglue it to the post. I merely set mine on and it has never moved, so I was happy with it. I would probably hot glue it instead if it ends up ever moving.

Mine is pretty loose. Seems like it needs to be secured, but didn't want to superglue it.

Wondering where you guys decided to tap into to power your POTD mod?

Does anyone make a wire harness for the POTD army figures?

#7422 2 years ago
Quoted from SKORR_Arcades:

Mine just came with Cometpinball matrix star post lights all connected together with y adapters and then powered by a matrix bayonet quick connect bulb.

Can you please post pics?

Thanks

I want to change the color of the legs, side rails and lockdown bar on my game. Send me pics of what you have done.

Thanks

Karl did the hidden "Bash Gary (Stern)" mode in LotR on his stream tonight.

How do you do that?

Quoted from flipper73:

Anyone knows if there was a flyer for the LE Modell? I searched in the internet and found only the flyer of the first run.

There is not an LE flyer.

Quoted from WizardsCastle:

Who sells the Arwen/Shire protector?
I had one in my game, and the piece that sits in the Shire completely snapped off while playing.
I think the full piece looked like this.
Anyone know where to find one?
[quoted image]

I am pretty sure these have been NLA for a long time.

Quoted from JBrew:

New random question: When I power up my pin, I get a pop from the speaker. Sometimes I get a similar pop when flipping the power switch off. If I play a few times throughout the day, is it harder on all the electronics to keep power cycling during the day when someone wants to play or should I just leave it on? Is there something that can be done about the speaker pop or is it normal?

Normal. I think someone made a device to reduce it, but I don't remember who. Turn your games off when not playing them.
