There seems to be a misconception that the term "limited edition" means smallest quantity. All it means is it runs out eventually once X amount are gone, or X amount of time elapses.
Doesn't mean it's the rarest, the best, the prettiest... Look at all the "limited" or "collectors edition" Blurays, comics, toys, games etc... Have popped up in the last 20 years. There's thousands of them available and they exist only to part you and your money, not make you money or value in the long run. It's always some obscure collectible that wasn't popular or pushed as collectible that really skyrockets in value.
